Unless the show in question is related to the events of the New Republic, I don't think we'd be getting that in anything like that, and the closest confirmed onscreen format that can happen is the Cassian show which takes place during the rebellion. I really liked Ezra Bridger in Rebels. The coming of age aspect of the character was a strong theme just as Asoka was in the Clone Wars series. Their strong sense of right and wrong is appealing especially in a world today that blurs the line between the two.

@@davidm7847 Well... SPOILERS FOR THE MANDALORIAN Mando implies history with Moff Gideon from during the Purge; he was probably the commander in charge of it. More than that, Modd Gideon wields the darksaber, which he had to have gotten from Bo Katan (directly or indirectly) after Rebels, and he presumably did that during the Purge. This means that The Purge happened within the past 6 years or so at the time of the Mandalorian. Also, there were a lot of Mandalorians not in hding (and many on good terms with the Empire) in Rebels. It had to have happened after Rebels, not during TCW.

Here's what Id like for this series. Clone wars had a lot of focus on the main characters from the prequel trilogy while also giving the spotlight to new characters as well. Rebels focused more on new characters while characters from the original trilogy made an appearance here and there. So id like them to not only focus on the characters from rebels, but also the main characters from the original trilogy. Luke, han, Leia, Chewie. It coudl sort of combine what made both series good. And there's so much possibilities that could happen. Leia trying to lead the new Republic, while also leading to her and Han raising young Ben solo, luke traveling with Sabine and Asoka, while also learning more of his fathers and mothers past. There's a scene in a novel where r2 shows a recording of anakin turning to the dark side, as well as his birth and mothers death. Imagine if they did something like that. There's so much they can do with this series.

I really want Ashoka & Sabine to be in mando season 2. Given Sabine’s connection to the dark saber I don’t see how they can possibly leave her out. And having them in season 2 of the mando would then give a nice setup to their animated (or maybe not?) show. You do know he's the executive producer, co-creator (basically), and one of the directors on The Mandalorian, right? And Resistance isn't as bad as you make it out to be; you probably just don't like it because they took out darker themes and reduced the amount of action to appeal to a much younger target audience.

@@Klffsj actually no, I don't like the resistance because I never got invested into any of the stories, despite BB probably being the best character in the sequel trilogy. I couldn't tell you off the top of my head any of Resistance's episodes. And yes I know Filoni is there, and so is Jon F, which is why the show is awesome. I want the sequel show to Rebels to be just as good, if not better. Not sure what kind of theme they would go with, but if Dave is spearheading, then I have the utmost faith. The man knows his Star Wars.

I'm thrilled, especially since Ahsoka and Sabine are the main character in this series plus we'd get some cool adventures while looking for Ezra. It will be cool if we get see possibly on this journey Ahsoka finely meeting Luke. There's some many cool things we could see maybe this would lead into what will be the staring point of where we see the Empire start making the huge fleet in the years of development before the events of The Rise of Skywalker as well start to see the rise of The First Order
