@@The_Original_Alex_Channel I heard they keep them on because since the technology is old, they don't want to risk one of the animatronics taking too long to turn back on (or not come on at all) so they think it's better to just leave them on and not have to worry about it.

Sorry, I know this comment is old lmao They leave certain animatronics on as much as possible, because when they’re shut off, there’s no guarantee they’ll turn back on. Especially their older animatronics. Objects in motion tend to stay in motion Usually they turn off all other effects, like lighting, music, etc etc. So only the animatronics are left on. It’s A Small World animatronics are also left on overnight! (( the It’s A Small World kids also get yearly haircuts, their hair is a yarn like material that absorbs the excess moisture in the ride, thus stretching out the yard and making their hair ‘grow’ ))

Wow. This one is incredible. But, if no one goes to it, and no train passes it, what on Earth is with all the lights and animatronics being on?? Disney clearly doesn't have the money or want to spend the money to constantly demolish every scene and attraction they no longer use, Ok, but then why are they letting an defunct exhibit boost their electric bill?? I totally don't get that. Does anyone know?
@_spndyl
@_spndyl 3 жыл бұрын
Other people in the comments have already mentioned that it isn’t actually defunct. The train that usually rides past this is temporarily stopped for construction, but the boat ride still rides past this. I do agree it seems to be a waste of electricity to run this when the park is closed, however.
@crinkledsoap3211
@crinkledsoap3211 3 жыл бұрын
Maybe they want people to find it? because when urban explorers do things like this it gives Disney free publicity and people will want to adventure around the parks more and get more money, rinse and repeat the cycle. But this is actually super creepy isn't it, and I suppose it is definitely wasting one hell of an electric bill

I loved taking the train around Disney and seeing that village !! I believe the train would stop around the haunted mansion and go towards Space Mountain then to the front of the park.Does the train still run? I haven’t been there for some time....Question is the Hall of Presidents still hiding “ I heard it closed” awhile ago...That would be neat to see again.I remember going to River Country all day with my parents then getting dressed up to a dinner show on the top of Contemporary World and Barbra Eden “ I Dream of Jeannie “ TV Show was there singing on a stage show.....late 1979 /80 timeframe ......Take Care Matt from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania 😎🇺🇸

Why would the animatronics be turned on, period, in a abandoned and forgotten part of the park? Why if is closed, does the costumes on the animatronics still look pristine? I wonder I’d WDW, may be playing you Matt, and finding out where you are going to go, and using you and your videos to profit the parks, while making your life a hassle. Do you share what you are planning to do, with anyone else before you conduct you operations? Just a thought.

It could be a part of the animatronics body joints that don’t stop moving. The animatronics probably did the same thing too much and then the joints just kept moving
