Gus maybe a dictator when he gets power but so is it with all the other kids. Gus is also kind at some parts. Inspite of Gellmen always throwing him in the bin and beating the crap outta him, he still brought him to the state fair to make him feel included. He gave his dad's old parasuit to spinelli for her pagent and he did do his best in the dark to sow it even if he was terrible at it. After he stole the candy, he apologized and also offered to work to help pay the money back. When he hustled, he did make up for it by eating those terrible candies. Inspite of Randall being an a_hole he still didnt tattle on him and stayed silent. He was a real hero in the movie schools out and he saved the school, and T.J. He became friends with the Norwegian guy when no one would. He went to get that new ball too taking risks. He ripped his pants for mikey's sake. he has a good side. Unlike Randall who is just selfish and ruins people's lives for his cookies. I think all Gus needs is a little appreciation. He has been a big help in many tight places. He is not all that bad either.

My father never let me go to fair or any school trip for that matter. When it was last trip to amusement park in 12th grade I thought they would so I told my friends I will be going this time & so we all were happy. But my father refused again. When my best friend asked me if I brought the permission slip I said no she was mad because she thought that I was unwilling to go. I couldn't tell her why and was on the verge of crying because it was so emotional but she said it was okay. She didn't ask me again. But a day before the eventful day I find out that my friends paid half for my trip and then they told me. I had enough money on me to pay the rest. I signed my own permission slip. That was the only school trip I ever had but it was best because of my friends. :)

There's actually a creepypasta about how they are all ghosts who died during different eras, with TJ dying in the '40s, Gretchen in the '50s, Mikey in the '60s, Vince in the '70s and Spinelli in the '80s. With Gus being the only one who can see them because he's an outcast and their adventures are all a figment of his imagination IIRC. It was something based on each character's style of clothes from a certain era.

For my sister it was cheaper, for me it was 10 bucks more. She took my envelope last day. I had to stay at school. I was so pissed! and yeah, we played games all day at the gym. I wasn't so bad, but i was pissed non the less. My sister was so distracted, didn't care about crap. took my envelope with my huge written name on it without a second though.
