Tim, your questions of when am I over the Hill? I wish I was turning 40. 40 is not over the hill. I have 20 years on you this June. I think 60 maybe over the hill. But it’s all a mind set. Jackson will keep you young. I had my boys in my late mid to late 30s. I have friends that have grandchildren and I can’t imagine being a grandmother. Age is really a number. Enjoy your life! My dad’s 48 and had a hernia surgery (and a *male* gland removal for cancer) and he went through a lot of the same pain/surgery experience that Tim did. So you’re def not alone, but you’re healing a lot better and faster than he did! I hope you feel better soon!

I think it is pretty impressive that you managed your pain without any medication. I think when I got my wisdom teeth out I had to take them for at least a day. I can only imagine how much worse the hernia surgery is. But I totally understand the hesitancy to take them. ❤️
