Disney Travel Hacking: SAVING HUGE on Annual Pass!! (Out-of-State IncrediPass)

We live in Floorida and bought the weekday only pass for just around $400 because we are retired and preferred to go when it is the least crowded anyway. Went many times and just did Disney slowly, but often. Good run, but doing other things now that Disney has reduced services while shooting prices up.

@@HereInTheMagic I often said, the most luxurious thing to do in Disney is nothing. After you have already ridden all the rides multiple times on previous trips, my favorite thing to do was go slow and notice the small details all over Disney. We had "secret" spots we liked, such as a few tables on the lake directly behind the Rose and Crown English pub at EPOT, or eating upstairs at the Harbor House in Magic Kingdom sitting by the window looking down on the crowds, or having lunch at the Yak and Yeti at Animal Kingdom. We also enjoyed booking lunches at the various Disney resorts and just hanging out there too.

Good video! You will have an interesting POV as a non-local and as a travel agent. Most all of the Disney vloggers are locals. We are not local, and I watch your cruise content, so this should be interesting. I think any tips/hacks for those of out-of-state and agent tips are great. Very glad you will cover Universal. I’m VERY excited about EPIC! As father of an ASD son on a special diet we are very interested in accommodation options with real kitchens.

@@RichardYoungCF it’s still money you can spend on anything. I get points to use for purchases, so it’s not even a hack. It’s like saying I put $50 in a savings account every month and at the end of 5he year buy something with it. It’s still your money, not a discount.

I am a FL resident and get the Pirate Pass, which still is a chunk of change compared to the old Silver pass. I try to pick up discounted Disney gift cards where I can throughout the year. 10-15% back on merchant offers on credit cards, Sams, BJs sales, etc. And use those to pay for the pass renewal and Fort Wilderness campsites for the RV!

I do not travel enough to have a travel credit card. Capital One Savor card you earn 3% on dining and entertainment (includes theme parks). I used my Capital One Savor card to purchase my annual passes for Universal Studios Orlando and Walt Disney World. I also used my Capital One Savor card for dining at both parks, earning 3%.

We are FL annual passholders and travel hackers. We put everything on a Chase Marriott Bonvoy and AmEx Platinum card. We stayed at the Swan Reserve which is a Marriott Autograph hotel with points. It’s in the Epcot resort area and the best.

Yea we do similar except the end result is 5-6 round trips on points to Orlando per year on SW. more value in that and we just pay for our sorcerer pass (DVC members can buy this). Either way Mickey wins lol

They are completely different. Typhoon Lagoon has massive wave pool. Blizzard Beach doesn’t. BB has one slide that is taller and faster. BB is winter Themed. TL is ship wreak themed.

Most cashback cards allow you to pay your credit card with the cash back. I would have charged the 1700+ to the card then used the cash back to pay for it. That would have given me the 2% on the price of the pas and made it even lower price

Be sure to do the math on new DVC vs resale DVC, while resale does not include the “perks” like access to cheaper APs for non-FL-residents, you would be paying thousands or tens-of-thousands more to buy new with perks vs. resale without perks. Also, look at your own age to determine how long you’ll actually use DVC. And so on. One is not inherently better/worse than the other but one could be better than the other for your own situation. Ex. If you’re a Florida resident already getting cheaper pass options and such, then new DVC may not make as much sense. Best wishes!!

Maybe some day we will do this, but I just got back from a 3 day vacation, and my husband was so grouchy. Not being able to vape puts him in a bad mood. We won't be going back for a few years. I vlogged our trip, but it doesn't seem like people care about our Disney trips. I think I have some kind of condition with my ankles ever since we went in August 3 years ago. Maybe 4 years in a row of 4 or 5 days at once is too much. I also got my foot ran over by someone with an EVC. Always stand behind them, never on the side.

I’m not condoning anything… but if the vape doesn’t smell or put off a lot of smoke I know someone who snuck it in the bathroom the whole trip… just saying… For your feet, try soaking them in epsom salt at night. When we went in September me and my daughter did this and it made a big difference!

As a DVC member, we can get the sorcerer pass. We travel mostly Disney and we have the Disney CC and pay our balance off everymonth. It gives us one point per dollar but if you pay a annual fee you can get two points per dollar, this you can get you a Disney gift card and then use it on your Disney vacation.
