The last time I was there was 1997 so things have certainly changed in how you get on rides. Epcot was much newer then and I don't recognize much. It was fun to see how much has changed. I doubt I'd even know how to do the cell reservations and ride queues! The kids seemed to enjoy it. Glad the weather was great. It's later in the summer when it is steamy, wet, and hot. The next time you go to Orlando, try to go to Sea World as well. It's very entertaining.

Garden grill! I took my entire family in November 2023 for the first time. It's character dining, yes, but the restaurant rotates and the food is amazing! Plus, sourin and living with the land are right there. Walk on for both. My bag only got flagged at animal kingdom. I was told they take extra precautions for the animals. I can respect that.

I stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and it was very dark in the rooms. Loved everything else.

We are a family of 6 also, and LOVE Disney! We go at least once a year, sometimes twice, and ended up buying Disney Vacation Club 2 years ago finally....best decision we ever made, because the two bedroom villas on property are amazing with that size family. You got so much done on your first trip! And I'm glad you all enjoyed it! Thank you for taking us along on the trip.

Crystal you'll need a vacation after your Disney vacation, we went to the beach for a few days after. It's so much work to book things, lines, walking, and crowds! You went at a good time for your children's age. Next time check out Sea World! Memories made ✔

Looks like you had a good time. Disney Parks are absolutely exhausting. Being grandparents now, we’ve taken the Disney Cruise route. Not all the rides, but the kids still love it. The food and shows are excellent and much more relaxing.

We live in south Orlando and my two kids have the pixie dust pass. They can only go during the week with that pass but it is less crowded. Sometimes they just go late in the afternoon for a couple of hours. They never tire. Glad you all had a good time and got back safely.

Thank you for sharing your honest and genuine family trip to Disney. I’ve wanted to take our family for years but am so intimidated of all the crap you have to reserve. Sucks you had the stress of waking up early to get all the genie or fast pass or reservations lined up. I remember going g to Magic Kingdom as a kid and didn’t have to worry about any of that. We would drive up from Miami and spend the day standing in lines like everyone else. lol. It’s cool to see and remember some of the same sights and rides. However, after watching your trip, it has really made me want to just use a Disney agent to plan the whole thing for us. Thanks again for sharing. Really enjoyed this video.

I’ve been to Disney only once and that’s because I was down in Kissimmee for work. We stayed at The Swan, it was nice. Went into Animal Kingdom one day, but my favorite was taking the boat rides at night. Very refreshing and relaxing!

This was so fun and tiring to watch what all you and your family did at Disney. I don’t mean that ugly, I just remember how tiring it could be and it was more like the high 80’s and 90’s when we were there. We were fortunate that my daughter on one of the trips was 18 and our son14 because my husband and I got so sick on one of the rides where you sit still but feel like you are moving. Anyway, we ended up having to go back to the room and they actually shut the park down and had a ball without us. So many great memories though. Your whole family you can tell really enjoyed it and were real troopers. 😊❤😊

We have been to Disney several times last 2 trips we did half Disney/half Universal Studios (HarryPotter)so close to each other changes things up but always new memories each time never have time to do it all glad u had a great time

YES to the rest day!! So glad to see you guys do this! We always have a rest day when we go to Disney/Universal. About halfway in-just like you did! This summer we will be going to Universal and plan to have a beach day about an hour away at Cocoa Beach. It helps break up the trip a bit and allows our legs to recover-lol! The ONLY thing I didn't like about Disney (we went two years ago) was having to use the app to book rides with the Genie Plus. I felt like I was glued to my phone the whole time. I miss Disney the way it used to be. But still, a good time!
