Enjoyed your Thanksgiving day outing. You are blessed, so many ways. Loved Gracie 's dinner. I lost my mini dauschund a month ago, Mr. Snuggly. Carving the turkey was sad that he wasn't at my feet waiting for some samples knowing he was about to have a big dinner. I was so blessed for my little companion and thankful for our time together. We went on thunder mountain at night! What a special experience...it was exciting anticipating all that was about to happen and not being able to see it before it did occur. I like this time of year when it gets dark earlier and all the lights are so pretty. I'm going to celebrate my 71st birthday at Disney World's Magic Kingdom. Thanks to you I chose to eat at Crystal Palace. Thanks for what you do, I enjoy all your videos.

We (wife,daughter 7year old at time) went to WDW 2001 and stayed 10 days. We flew in on Thanksgiving day early, checked in and then to the Grand Floridian for Thanksgiving day buffet. It was a great experience, and it was at a time when Disney treated you great while staying at Wilderness Lodge. And though it took us 2 years of saving we loved it.

You can still go for the decorations with way less crowds Charlie, just as long as you are not in the parks on the actual holidays!

We were there a 5 years back Dec 22/23rd. Everyone said it is insane to go so close to Christmas so I was expecting mayhem. Now it was crowded but it did not seem as bad as I was lead to believe. We then followed up 2 years later with a September trip and I have to admit there did not seem to be a drastic difference between the two!

One of our favorite Thanksgivings was a special buffet at the Wave yrs ago. We were told the buffet was provided to make it easier on their wait staff. It was a beautiful buffet

I try to not go out on those days...I see it as those of us going out on those special days are the reason the servers/employees don't get to be home with their family. I've experienced that myself too many times to want to do that to someone else. Used to be everything was closed on holidays and Sundays...now it is the rarety to find something closed. Still love seeing how you adore Gracie. You are definitely one that understands that a pet isn't a pet...a pet is family.
