I like that the cast members check the pins for authenticity. The American parks take scrappers and fakes. You see the same pins that aren't popular over and over. I wish the U.S. would adopt the same practice as Paris. Your family got some wonderful pins!

Yes, they are great and you rarely find scrappers. They also tend to have quite a bit of knowledge on the pins themselves too. We are off to Disney World this summer and will need to be careful.

Pin trading is such a fun activity. It is great that it is offered at DLP. We have done it a few times. Great to see.

There is lots going on, especially at weekends. The pin board is great and so many cast members have lanyards and love to trade ❤️

Love the pin trading videos! On the trading board, can you trade Limited Release pins for Limited Edition?

We’re glad you enjoy them ☺️ you can only trade limited release for another limited release or open edition. Although we have not really seen many limited release pins on the board. It is normally Limited Edition, then cast refresh and hidden Mickey, then Open Edition. Occasionally there will be others.

So many great pins! I'm going in June and wondered...do you think pueblo will be open during the week or just weekends? I usually visit in winter when it's only open weekends, but I hoped it might have more open days in summer. xx

Ooo we’re excited for you! In the summer it is open more often, so you should be fine 🥰 the weekends are when traders tend to set up outside though.

Everyone who we have ever pin traded with has been lovely and always so happy to trade. It is an amazing community. We recommend trading with the board first, then cast members to build up to it. The main thing is to enjoy it ☺️ When are you going?

do you know if DLP has different sets than DisneyWorld (Florida) or do all the parks use the same sets?

That’s a good question, we think they are unique to each park as some say Disneyland Paris on the back. But we are not 100% sure

So exciting! We hope you have a magical trip 🥰 You can pin trade with cast members who have lanyards with pins on any day of the week. We recommend this as they are so friendly! The board at Pueblos is typically out at weekends and that is when lots of traders tend to set up on the benches outside. As a cast member in Frontierland though, as it has been out midweek when we have been on certain visits.

So exciting! You can trade with cast members at all times (if they have a lanyard with pins). Peublos tends to have more chance of people trading outside at the weekend. The board itself can be hit and miss, but is typically out at weekends. We have traded with it midweek too though. The best advice is to ask a cast member in Frontierland. We hope you have an amazing trip!
