2:26 is best part of the video. Nice to see a 2003 version of the ride. I went maybe November of 2003 was my first time at the age of 7 or 8... Love the attraction, always a must see.

Oh man, I grew up with this ride and really miss this version! The new one just doesn't have the same charm.

I also like that featured in this video is the old Marc Davis talking Jolly Roger, the rendition with the white swords. It was the very first rendition when the attraction first opened. I don’t like the subsequent renditions as much as that first one for some reason.

I really like what you’ve done here. This is the video I would’ve made, although it could’ve been a bit longer. I like that you did edits and cutaways and remixed the soundtrack. The Mr. Clean thing was kind of funny, but took away from the moment. Most of all I like that there is no Jack Sparrow. I really liked Curse of the Black Pearl, but this old Marc Davis, Claude Coats, Walt Disney classic masterpiece attraction should never have been tampered with. Thanks for posting this!

Thanks! (It's been awhile, I know, but I haven't been active here for awhile...) Anyway, I agree about the Mr. Clean segment. It was an in-joke with my family, which originally were the only ones who were supposed to see this video. I uploaded all these videos in bulk though, and didn't think to remove it beforehand...

Sorry, it's been so long I can't remember. I'm pretty sure it was from one of the fireworks shows. "Believe" or "Magic" or some such from one of the Disneyland Official Albums.
