When I worked in Tomorrowland, my lead let me go down to the old rocket rods queue under Store Command (Astro Blaster’s gift shop). We use it for a little bit of merch storage but the pictures you showed are accurate as of 2018 😁

I was able to ride the rocket rods at Disneyland in 1999, the line was insanely long, it was a jerky ride, but as a kid I didn't care. I find it so cool that I got to go on a Disney ride that didn't run for long.

All the talk of "Abandoned queues" I'm amazed he didn't talk about Fort Wilderness on Tom Sawyer's Island. While yes the ISLAND still has it's queue in New Orleans Square, Fort Wilderness has been nothing more than, say it with me now; a mostly empty storage space. I know Fantasmic needs to keep the props and stage gear somewhere close by for the nightly performances but it still brings me a hint of sadness to se the formerly real wood logs of the old fort now just a fancy looking locker.

Not a queue exactly but the Old (Upstairs room) of the starcade which can be seen from space mountain queue has always been extremely creepy as it’s always been closed as long as I can remember in the 90s/2000s. supposedly has a lot paranormal activity according to CMs

I grew up going to Disneyland like once a year. I never got lost. My brother and I would get let loose in the park by my parents- “meet us at the tiki room at noon” it was awesome. But I also remember always grabbing the park map brochure, it was your key to unlock all the fun you could have with out your mom and dad. I’m going next week and really am looking forward to what I am sure will be a miserably hot shit show. It will totes be worth it. My mom and I have really been enjoying your videos. Thanks.

I used to love the people mover, it was a nice break. I remember you went through a tunnel that looked like something from tron, we always heard the story about some kid carving his initials into one of the skyway carts you rode in and security was waiting for him at the other end speculating that the skyway carts had hidden cameras in them. I have not been to Disney since 1995 lol

They're rocket rodding the people mover at Walt Disney World. I went in June and whenever the track was straight the vehicle sped up really fast and then slowed down at turns. Prepare to lose it all soon.

My favorite piece of trivia about the old Frontierland R.R. station building is that it is used in the "Two Brothers" section of The American Adventure at EPCOT, where they show the family meeting the coffin.

Hi Dallin. A lot of parks don't go to the expense of removing ALL abandoned rides & queues. Nearly all parks do. There's lots of "stuff" @ Magic Mountain. AstroWorld had a lot. One was a miniature golf course (later in fall, Mt. Rotkin Cemetary) Der Hoffheizberg (Alpine mountain) easier to tear down than Matterhorn. LOL! 6 flags o Texas (Big Bend) foundations can still be found.

As of April of this year, the only difference from those pictures is the curved neon pole/cage looking things are gone. The orange plexi and some orange outlining tape are still there but it has sadly become a place for old chairs and junk. Fun, but not so fun, fact though, back when Marvel characters used to greet guests in Tomorrowland, they used areas of those halls as a break/dressing area and it, unfortunately, became a popular area for cast to “happen upon” in hopes of seeing Thor or Cap’s abs.

I would like to see a third park at the Toy Story lot, and that way they can bring back a sort of peoplemover that is a REAL form of transportation, not just a ride. It can transport people to and from that park to the Downtown Disney area where people can park hop to the other two parks.

I don’t know much about the (old) New Orleans square station except that it is used by the train cast members, I was on the last train one day just a month ago and I vividly remember one train cast member asking the other to grab his lunch that he left in that building, out of context it sounds like an unofficial break room but who knows. Sorry that’s all I remember 🤷‍♂️
