Ahsoka Review of the Season 1 Episode 8 Finale. Disney+ have taken over Star Wars and made a series that serves no purpose except to explain where Ahsoka and Sabine were during the sequels. If Sabine, Ahsoka, Baylan, the General, didn't exist, nothing would change except for Ezra staying where he was. Then we find out Thrawn loses every single battle he ever fights but claims victory because he managed to run away. People say you have to watch rebels? You DON'T have to watch Ahsoka, "Ezra returns" is the entire summary you'll need for any future series/movie. But what did you think of what you saw? Let me know your thoughts down below and as always, thanks for watching :)

Ahsoka was quite literally described by Dave Filoni as "Rebels season 5" this story was planned as soon as rebels seasons were planned out, and before the sequel trilogy was even created. So you're wrong there, but the rest of your videos I have got to say are great and hilarious with your use of sarcasm.

"If you removed Ahsoka from Ahsoka, all of the same events would happen." At first I was sceptical, but, now that I think about it, you're right. Ahsoka didn't achieve anything. She failed to prevent Elsbeth from finding Thrawn, and she failed to prevent Thrawn from returning. She just followed the villains around, killing their henchmen, but not stopping any of their plans. And now she's stranded in another galaxy and trying to pretend that everything is fine.

I recall the Lucas-time EU had it that the Force kind of "tunes out" outside of the galaxy and hyperspace travel never really succeeded at leaving it either. The finale basically shows the following: -The Jedi, The Witch and The Warlord is the title of this episode and can anyone say "I RIPPED THIS TITLE OFF FROM C.S LEWIS ANY LOUDER!!!!" -Baylan is on top of the Argonath for some reason and that is another rip off from another universe(Fellowship of the Ring) and it is eons better then Ashoka or Disney Star Wars. -Ashoka is basically Gandalf(the grey outfit and then the white outfit and once again ripping from Lord of the Rings. -Sabine is now force sensitive even tho it was never hinted at even once in Rebels and this change is due all because of Kennedy's self destructive mandates, checkboxes and pandering needs to be fulfilled no matter what. -Erza the Weed Smoker made a new lightsaber even tho just one episode ago Sabine offered to give Erza back his green lightsaber that he had in Rebels and he refused since all he needed was the force and nothing else because he was a pacifist until the finale when he made a new one BECAUSE DAVE FILONI DOESN'T KNOW WHAT CONSISTENCY IS ANYMORE!!!!!! -Also they are riding on wargs because Lord of the Rings is far. more superior then this sh*tshow and so Dave Filoni once again rips off from LOTRS. -Ashoka moves around like a 60 year old during the lightsaber duels. -Admiral Blueface is still a fatass who can't even win at a game of checkers. -Plus everyone can just use the force now(I would like to thank both Dave Filoni and Rian Johnson by telling them both to go f*ck themselves). -The shills are clapping like the brain dead seals that they are every single time they jangle the nostalgia keys in front of their faces and they go after it like a group of flies to a flame and that is what Disney truly think of them and it is truly sad that they haven't figured that out yet. -Anakin cares more about his padawan then his own children at this point and Dave just continues to show us how much of a self absorbed prick he really is. The result is Dave Filoni is not even worthy to shine the shoes C.S Lewis, J.R.R Tolkien or even George Lucas for that matter and as Disney's stock continues to drop it just proves that Ashoka is trash along with Bob Iger, Kathleen Kennedy and Kevin Feige are the parasites that lead Disney down the woke path that will lead towards their own self destruction and the EU is true Star Wars and that is the bottom line because reality said so.

And i think she has already showed signs of it. She had a struggle pulling the gun from the ground but in the next scene she is able to force push Ezra 25 meters in the air without breaking a sweat so what's next after a stunt like that? @@white0thunderwhite0thunder71 True it's Disney and also it's because she is a female. Men still seems to struggle and have to train their skills in the force but not women. But speaking of Disney what has happened with lightsabres? I mean at one point Sabine and/or Ahsoka cut the head off of some black troopers. In the next scene the same types of lightsabre moves and hits only made some scarring and damage to the troopers armor. But they still dies in both cases. My first thought was do light sabres have different power level settings on the handle and the higher level or power you use the more you drain the battery or what...or is it just a case of the show being very inconsistent?

One part that bugged me was when Ezra made his lightsaber. It was treated like a really mundane thing that anyone could throw together in their garage. The kind of thing that you could slap together with some screws, a soldering iron, and a little elbow grease, and bam, Jedi sword. At least Jedi Fallen Order added the mystical part where after he put his new saber together, Cal used the Force to finalize the construction by aligning the crystal with the components. He would have used the Nightsisters to locate Sabine, Ahsoka and Ezra the same way they did last time. He would then have used his fighters to run recon and more precise attacks on individual strategic targets while using the Chimera's heavy artillery to annihilate the general postal code. If any survivors showed up on the sensors he would then send about 75% of his ship's marine garrison to crush said survivors. @Janx14 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, at most they achieved was Ezra getting back. I suppose Ahsoka's also there to stop Baylan from doing...whatever he's doing. But the show doesn't dwell too much on that. Honestly perhaps would have just had a villain focused show and make the main character Baylan or Shin.

He wasn't evil...but he did have a way of thinking of people and worlds as assets and acceptable losses. Morally speaking evil, but for someone who is thinking 23 steps and 20 years ahead while getting an understanding of a whole culture based on their artwork....yeah, he had reasons for doing what he did. And he was neither a sociopath nor a psychopath as he did have the capability to feel emotional pain and understanding it plus wanting to defend the Chiss...and the galaxy. In the very opening scene of the series an arrogant captain let an unknown ship board them, which turned out to be a very bad idea, so I guess these rebels didn't learn a damn thing as they once again let an unknown ship board them. You'd think there would've been some new protocols. It could've been Baylon and Shin again. I'd like to know how that happened anyway. Baylon and Shin at least had to give expired jedi codes. Ezra didn't have to present any sort of code or reason for wanting to board? That should've been the point where he introduced himself, spoiling the surprise reunion. And then yeah, did he fly that entire distance with the helmet on? Did he put it back on before boarding? And why? The writers couldn't think of a logical reason to have this reunion so we got something that has so many unanswered questions. Thrawn's ship didn't detect a ship leaving?

The point of having Luke or Ani be so proficient off rip was to show their unique abilities. Luke was also the son of a great political strategist and possibly the most skilled Jedi in the history of the order so it would make sense for him to have a natural inclination towards the force, even after years of it being suppressed. When everyone is special, no one is.
@thrrax Жыл бұрын
The problem with lightsaber fights in general is that the writers don't take into account the fact that they don't "behave" like regular swords. The lore itself explains very well how and why they work, but very little has been invested into actually creating a combat style that takes advantage of how and why they work.
@cattrucker8257 Жыл бұрын
What's the saddest is that it CAN and HAS been done, but only in various side materials. Such as some game trailers like SWTOR's. There they actually use sabers' lack of physical blades and the way they cut and melt through things with ease and it makes for such awesome fighting. It's like the closer a "creative" is to big budgets, the worse they get.
@thrrax Жыл бұрын
@@cattrucker8257 Yeah, was thinking the same thing... I understand why back in the originals they did it how they did it, with metal rods and then adding the lightsaber effects in post production, but now when you have all this tech they are indeed worse. So you telling me that a highly proficient force user can "feel" the blaster shots enough to parry/deflect them, but can't turn off their saber in order to make their opponents lose their balance and turn it back on on fast enough to cause the beam to pierce them. And I've watched enough HEMA duels to know that the spinning is ridiculous... You might do that when you have a physical object in order to implement more force in your blows, when the opponent has an equally hard to wield sword, not with something that is virtually weightless.

See I understand that writers want to add their own ideas onto a project or universe but there is a point where too many ideas are just bad for a universe on a story telling level. The more pieces you add to a story the more you have to remember each and every piece and where it fits. I don't think Disney or their writers can do that. That's where are we with Star wars. It's just cramped full of ideas and not a single way gets any room to breath before we're hit over the head with a new idea or plot point while still struggling to understand WTH the previous garbled idea was. I truly think we've gone a little too far with the whole fantasy element with Star wars. Remember a set up without a pay off is a pointless waste of time and effort.

Disney StarWars loves taking sacrifices people have made and making those sacrifices worthless. Anakin kills Palpatine to restore balance in the Force. Disney “somehow” brings Palpatine back. Ezra sacrifices himself to save the Galaxy from Thrawn, Sabine goes “eff that” and brings Thrawn back lmfao. Disney and anyone that works there can go bankrupt any time now.

The issue does have a solution, or at least a way to make it easier and that is to move forward. Jump a 100years everyone is dead, new Republic while capable always has to deal with new threats. They could tell small, mostly self-contained stories. Instead, they need to bank on nostalgia you have for old characters, because they can't create new likeable ones and they keep messing around with what was established and jamming bullshit into it without thought. They could have done it with the High Republic, but all they did was create a ship name Vessel, rock called Geode and the grand jedi bake-off... at least we've learned what Yoda's favorite cookies were...
