As a viewer i'm much more engaged by the glitchless runs and seeing how different players handle the bossfights. While any% is a completely different skillset, its still mad impressive and the grind to learn these skips is unreal.

They legit build the games with exploits I think to allow speedruns like this. Because it's so common in all Souls-likes I have a hard time believing they all have similar exploits and then they don't get patched out.

yeah I just did a 24 hour stream beating the game and only ending my stream when it was done. Started at Green Beast, so the whole game took me longer. Had crappy gear on and spent 6.5 hours figuring out Laxasia’s moveset. Got stuck on secret boss and manus for a few hours as well. Now I feel like I got the gist down and want to do an all boss, no summon NG+ run. I feel you on seeing this and going “ah, I need improvement”
