Very nice Contender! I love that cartridge, too. Always wanted a .357 Maximum.

@@travischapin886 Thanks, Travis. This frame is one of my newer ones. It came from a retired silhouette shooter.

I located and secured a 21" T/C Carbine Match chamber 22 LR this week!!!❤❤❤❤ I have been looking for quite a while!! Sold mine off in 2000 regretted it since!! Now to pic a optic. I think a Nikon AO 4.5-14 Squirrels BEWARE!! ❤❤❤ I passed on a 10" Maxi @ 250 beans. Wanting a 14".

@@cw2a I have yet to shoot my 10” Match .22 LR barrel - I’ve been running a pair of regular 10” in smallbore rimfire - one with an old Aimpoint and one with irons. This Bellm rechambered barrel is quite an improvement over my stock T/C Max barrel.

Great shooting! That must be a good stout load. Those stands are nice, but I can see them giving in after a few sessions. Excellent video, Chapin!

Thanks, Marc! It's middle of the road for .357 Maximum. Lil Gun is a somewhat flakey powder - my experience is that *everything* matters when using it. I have found very good group size with it in 450 Bushmaster and .357 Max, even when the velocity varies somewhat. A consistent crimp seems to be key - this session had both RP and Starline brass - the velocity varied between them.

That was a stout load from the way the pistol was torquing.

@@jamespollard1670 It’s middle of the road, and I wasn’t making any effort to arrest muzzle flip. I was working on a consistent grip and trigger squeeze. Hornady numbers go to 22.0 grains.

Man. As soon as I noticed that the stand was bent, I saw their name lasered into the part and went “Yep. I wouldn’t have done that.” That 357 Max smacks her pretty good!!!

@TinManReloading yeah for me it smacks for sure however as you know like I 357 Remington maximum is mid level just in my contender collection. Speaking of TC I have noticed that company has been purchased and moving back to New Hampshire. I recently replaced my griz revolver. Mountain man

@@StevenMMan It’s a laminated forend with the Bulberry hangar setup. I’ve been purchasing targets from Dragon for a few years. I gather that they have other fabrication business activities as well.
