When I add the volume to mesh node, your text blows up into that geometric shape. Mine doesnt, what am I doing wrong?

2:03 when i do volume to mesh , it does not add anything nor have a yellow outline around it, it says error identifying an object i follow every step , i have latest blender firmware plz help

Hey, great tutorial and super nice effect. I have one question: When I hit render at the end, the whole font is still visible underneath the distortion effects. Is there any solution for this?

@@user-vo7fz8nl1i I was having the same issue, try to applying directly on the Geometry Node editor: 1.Mesh toVolume then Volume to Mesh, it worked for me

Hey! That’s just the whole point of the effect I guess! You can of course make it smoother in post processing in another software!!

Go to solid mode and then render mode again or you might be using an older version than 3.5.

It’s 3.5 alpha I believe but yea anything after 3.5 should work

Geometry Nodes wont show up for me in the modifiers tab. Is there something I am doing wrong? Or do I need to update something in preferences?

@@invasionheadwearyup! Make sure to always have the newer versions because blender is changing very quickly and they add amazing things in every update! If you need any more help let me know.
