14:00 In edit mode, select one of the faces, hit "shift+g", you'll get the select similar menu and you just hit "normal" and all the faces at that angle will be selected. You can also just go into the menu at the top in edit mode and go select > select similar > normal.

Is it optimised, hell no but is the sort of tut I want at 1am, yep. I like to use Blender as a puzzle sometimes. Fire it up and think " I'm gonna make x,y,z" and just freestyle it and solve as I go. There's always a better way but if it stops being fun I'd run and never look back.

Hi Intra, do you know the science of adding an empty and why it keeps each prism rotating on its own axis ? I missed the empty part and i was puling me hair out because the whole board was rotating as one big board for a while until i did a few rewinds. Adding an empty and selecting it when you parent all the prisms has fixed this. I was just wondering what exactly the empty is doing. if anyone could give some insight to that it would be grand. Thankyou for all the vids. Sick shirt btw. Big ups !

oof assigning the colors is tuff bc the base color will not allow the third color to take for the last face(the red base wont let that third face turn blue). "C" will also grab up some of the green side's faces and not let them turn back. also wont let them turn blue. Its a hard world out here.

for a beginner in blender, how would you say you learnt blender quickly? like can you share tips on how to get better and not give up easiyl cus it can get so frustrating. what resources did you use to become better or just learn it??

My 1 main biggest piece of advice is transcribing tutorials into a book. You're gonna be forgetting what you learn 90% of the time so having it written in your own words so you can easily access is so much more efficient than trawling back through a video looking for 1 piece of information. I still refer to my "cheat sheet" book pretty much every project for one thing or another. Forgetfulness is inevitable when absorbing a complex new skill so don't put pressure on yourself to remember every single nugget
