In this video, Elliott delves into the concept of discipline amidst pervasive distractions, tracing the historical evolution of distractions since the advent of broadcast media in 1919. He emphasizes the importance of refocusing on fundamental aspects like physical fitness, spiritual discipline, family, and personal development to combat modern distractions and regain control over our lives. Elliott encourages viewers to actively commit to mastering these foundational areas as a means to navigate and overcome the overwhelming influence of contemporary distractions.

Just bought your book on Amazon Elliott. Been an OG subscriber & really look up to the leader that you have become. Looking forward to reading it & soaking up more wisdom. As a man in his late 20's, I look upto people like yourself & are eager to learn from you. God bless.

i work full time and go to school full time. im getting two degrees this semester and am continuing my studies as well. i smoke so much weed and play videogames, i know its a distraction but if i dont have those two things i think i wouldnt even be able to get as far as i am cause it just gives enough relief to make the tough times a bit more bearable. idk im just putting this out there i do agree with you

It’s an illusion. Your brain would become more dopamine sensitive and the stuff you hate doing would become more interesting over time.

So many distractions, including this very one which I write a comment on right now, so many videos of people telling us how to live our lives , videos about distractions are also distracting, ironically. Funny old world.

Whatever keeps you sleeping at night buddy. We don't need to distract ourselves. We need to set out where that "track" is taking us. Your purpose. If you distract yourself, you have no purpose. Not a good place to be in as a Man.

@@epicbehavior i myself think you have to face your problems, to even be able to see the solution. if you ignore your problems, youre stuck. - but i get my friends, whose life is harder than mine, who need to netflix and drink something after a hard exhausting day of work.

Is this a new video? Because it looks like your old videos it’s like you never age To comment my thoughts. Yes distraction is the reason for everything. Pornography alone is what destroys marriages in relationships. TikTok is the biggest distraction. It also damages your brain. I like to call it tick-tock brain because they cannot stay focused for more than a few minutes. They are rude disrespectful forget what I just explained to them and cannot remember anything for more than 20 minutes because they watch the same old shit over and over again such as deciding if they want to get the money now or double and give it to the next person or how these people are doing giveaways and shit like TikTok is a fucking joke I can’t wait for the day it’s banned in America. I don’t know why so many people these days find it so satisfying people are so satisfied with KZbin shorts Facebook reels or anything that 60 seconds and it damages your brain, creating a short attention span, which translates to TikTok brain.
