Thank you so much Christy, for being bold enough to share your thoughts about and love of Jesus. I also love when you share stories about Scott, your grand babies. Please don't think that your story telling is not good enough, clear enough..... you tell a fine story, that is easy to understand and relate to. ❤Wendy

Super fun technique you shared! I appreciated your thoughts on being grateful and it’s so true we forget to appreciate what we have and not gripe about what we don’t have. Back when I lived in Alabama I would gripe about having to mow my lawn in the humid temperatures and then I started thinking gee I should be thankful I have feet and legs to be able to mow my lawn and be thankful I had my lovely little home. It’s all perspective and I’m so blessed to have found you and your channel…thank you! 🥰

Another brilliant idea! Quote: "It takes tremendous effort to rise but it takes less effort to fall."- Kedron Omosigho" I previously used it for cleaning and it indeed has a strong smell. I agree that it would make for a great summer project, and I prefer your approach over others I've seen where all the pictures are removed.i hope I can wait until Summer. May you be enveloped in love's warmth, comforted by the peace that surrounds you, and supported by those who care for you, bringing solace and positive energy into your life, and may you find serenity in all that you do. 13:03 Bless your heart. I enjoyed your message. Nowadays one has to be so careful not to offend someone or a group. It’s really quite silly. But it does seem like people don’t call on our Heavenly Father until something bad has happened or they need/want something. Anyway. I love this! Sanding is so messy. And personally I love the grungy look. Thanks for showing this technique. I’m definitely giving this a try. -Paige ❤️💜💚

@pdmullgirl you nailed it, and not just that, but some read more into what we say. It's like, that's not what I said lol 😂 God has blessed me, and my grandchildren so much. We love, and appreciate each other. I used to worry about offending someone, walking on eggshells. Why? My life has been a lot of bad choices, and far from a Christian life. I think that stopped me a lot too. Like, I didn't want people to say, YOU'RE talking about God? I know the things you've done. Well, so does God, and He Chose to forgive me, and lead me to a better path. All that to say,, thank you! I'm trying hard not to worry about what others think. Bless you 🙏 for your wonderful comment. Thank you, thank you😊💖

Hi Christy. I've done similar things (bleach was the worst...never again type bad). But because of my health I do the sanding technique. No smell, light sanding and done. Takes ink well too. I have a ton of gardening books to use and looking forward to making spring and summer journals. (I'm still working on Christmas journals 🙄😏). I have a ton of the packing paper too so any new ideas on ways to use it will be appreciated. I like using it to make splatter papers. Lay out a long piece of it on the floor and just walk back and forth splattering away. (Very therapeutic 😁). Anyway, great video. TFS Hope you have a great day. 🌞

Wow! Scott you said your husband's name was? I love his answer! I'm 66 years old and have NEVER heard that before. God allows us to make our own choices - He doesn't force Himself on us and I think that good people go through bad times so that we'll step closer to Him. Try "Awesome Orange" cleaner - you'll get a similar result and it's not nearly as stinky! It's been a few years since I did it but I'm absolutely certain it took LOTS longer for the product to work, like maybe an hour or more! An excellent tool for roughing up the edges is a seam ripper! The inside bottom of the "U" shape is a blade and it does a great job! You've done a great job here and I'm gonna give it a try with the Totally Awesome - I have more tolerance for smells than I do for waiting for stuff to work. 🤣🤣 Hugs from the Midwest, USA, MK 🤗❤🤗 PS, I love Anne too! Isn't she terrific?
@CraftedByChristyShop
@CraftedByChristyShop 11 күн бұрын
Yes, Scott. There was actually a little more to the answer, but u edited it out. I wasn't sure I should say on video. To the part why do bad people get it so easy, always getting the best of things. Scott said, I believe this is our hell, when we die things only get better. For them, this is their heaven, this is a good as it will ever get. Hope that made sense. Agree, I'd rather manage the smell as wait! Lol 😆 I LOVE the seam ripper idea! Would have never thought of that, perfect. Thank you so much! Big hugs from Missouri! 😊💖🤗

Hey Christy, I decided to give this a try, mhm, yours turned out awesome, mine.... well, not so much yet, but continuing to work on them. 🥴 I cut up a bunch of paper grocery bags to glue them too and make signatures out of them. I used some bird magazine pages, they worked best, some heavier book pages of flowers, didn't take too much of the "shiny" away, so may cover them with glue after gluing them to the page, and a 12 month calendar, so again, lighter weight pages that worked pretty good. They all came out ok, but it's dark out so hard for me to see if I'm gonna like it, with my eye issues, so in the morning, I'll look with natural light and see what I think. I used Zep brand citrus degreaser, similar to what you used and I had it already, I bought it for another similar project I had seen, it smells like orange, so that's nice, and it worked, lol. 🧡🧡🧡

You said you’re not good with your words, but you are good with your words. it sounds to me that you’ve only started speaking about God and blessings and maybe you’re a little nervous wondering how people are going to take it. honestly, how people receive your word and what they think about what you say is really none of your business and I mean that in a very nice way if God put it on your heart to share, then you should share it and how people take it is not up to you, and it’s not for you to worry about I am a crafter and the times have forced my hair lost the use of my hands. I’ve been hospitalized for four years now I hold onto my faith. I hold onto Jesus because without him I wouldn’t be able to make it and also watch a lot of KZbin videos I get home.
