Jeff Hallett There new album is softer than their older stuff. David I believe had surgery for his throat, don't quote me. But the surgery and age got to him to where he can't sing like he used to and it's unfortunate. But them making their music softer helps him tremendously. Still love their music

Nah. I've seen them live twice and from what I've seen this is pretty typical "middle of the show" performance for them, when they aren't even really trying to nail something. Until you've been there in the room to see how big they go on the ones they're really trying to hammer home, you aint seen what these guys (especially David) can do live.

What i love with disturbed is no one gets left behind.. I mean they are providing equally good sound from their weapon ''instrument'' and they always blend it well.. Unlike some other bands .. Who focuses just on lead solo and vocal... But for disturbed.. Its all good.. U can really hear the drums and bass really kickin' ..

I get a huge crush on that bald man every time he open his mouth to sing! Such charisma, such a powerhouse of a voice. Love the way he's so grounded when singing. Not jumping around like crazy, but actually makes an effort to sound as good as possible for the audience. Disturbed is truly amazing!

Every album has some stuff that's more outside their usual zone and some that's them "being Disturbed" - it just so happens that it's usually the latter stuff that gets popular, so it's what they release as singles. The new album especially has a lot of less typical stuff from them.
