I've seen Disturbed 6 times in concert, the first was their first tour and the 6th was their 25th anniversary! They are just as great 25 years later as they are the first time!

Absolutely mind blowing. Amazing musicians complemented by the amazing vocal range from David. Emotional, teary, soothing, amazement are some of the emotions I felt listening to this. Brilliant

A while back I watched an interview with David Draiman on this exact topic about this version they sing. He had always waned to do the song but felt it needed to be different from the origional version. In it he spoke about the countless versions given to him. he knew he had found the right one when he started crying while it was being played. It's been a while since I watched so some things may be a little off but not the final version. I'm sure I saw it on KZbin if yoou're interested in the whole story. It's remarkable how good he performed being as sick as he was. He had the flu and his fever was over 102° F. Just imagine how good it would have been if he had been well. I don't see how he could have done it better. This was perfection!! Poor guy! He didn't want to cancel this performance and had to sit on a stool. Kudos to David for persevering. I'm glad he recovered nicely. Love you guys!! Hope ya'll are doing well. Sending you love from Texas!!❤❤❤

The person who played the piano for this song is Disturbed's lead guitarist. David Draiman has taken his lip piercings out. He did it back in 2018. He still has them. He keeps them with him like a good luck charm. David Draiman still has his ears pierced but he takes them out when he goes to visit his parents.

It’s hard for me to fathom that there are still people out there that get upset about the pausing. It’s a known fact that you guys have to do that. Or you get copyrighted and blocked. You guys do you. I love your reactions, as you know. Keep up the good work. In regards to this video the official video is awesome and very cinematic but this performance just shows you the amazing singer that David is. You’ve probably already been told this, but he was sick during this performance. Originally he claimed to have had the flu but a few years ago he did an interview and admitted that he actually had a bleeding lesion on his vocal cord. During this performance, he was incredibly drugged up. But as you can see no matter what David is amazing. He removed the piercings when he was 45 because he said that he was getting too old to look like a hot topic kid. PENTATONIX does a cover of this also that you might wanna check out. I see that you guys haven’t done MARCIN yet. He’s a 24-year-old Polish guitarist. You really need to check him out. There’s a lot I could suggest you do but I think you should go to his channel and just pick anything that interests you. He does everything from classical to metal. Oh yeah, and he is considered the best percussive finger style guitarist in the world. He’s been playing since he was 10. If you’ve already heard of him, then you know. If you haven’t and you do him, then you will know. 🤗💋🥰

I think this one is just a bit warmer (no pun intended, as David had like a 103F fever) than the official video. The video version is a bit more stark, which fits the video so well. But there's a depth to this one that is just incredible. And hey, are you guys going to do VoicePlay and Geoff's latests? They're amazing. Hold on to your Christmas stockings! #Disturbed 💚❤

Yes there's talent but also David has the power yet Elegance in his voice it's because he trained to be a cantor. A cantor sings Back everything that the rabbi just read from the torah. Not the whole thing all at once but they break it up into portions. It is truly beautiful even though I don't understand a word of it

Yes. It depends on how heavy their copyright protection is. That's why you'll see videos that have been altered such as a filter something over the video the video made smaller the opacity changed whether its flipped. All of that is done so that they don't get a copyright strike and won't be able to post the video

@lesaahrenstein6360 Ah, thanks! I've seen reactors do a, say, Josh Groban song, without pauses, but if I recall, the reactor had to jump through some significant hoops. And the song was over a decade old, so maybe that makes a difference too. What is the point of the pauses, do you know? I mean, why does the song need to be cut up? Also, I watch a lot of reactions to VoicePlay and Geoff Castellucci, who don't copyright. (I can't wait until these guys react to their recent Christmas songs! They're epic!) It seems like KZbin adds additional red tape sometimes though. Home Free is good about not copyrighting too, as is Peter Hollens...

don't know if you have checked out Jinjer or not, but if not you should. If you want the true voice of an angel/demon all in one, Tatiana is it. Green Serpent, their newest single shows it very well
