I used to be a history teacher at an upper secondary school, and I tried to play Crusader Kings 2 with them in class to show how the feudal system worked. It didn't work out, because all the girls didn't see the value of "playing some computer game" in class. They couldn't see any feudalism, history or maps or anything. To them, it might just as well have been Candy Crush as far as they were concerned. The boys found first cousin marriages interesting at least.

The first meme is based on a true story, you can read it in the book "The Gulag Archipelago".
