Mail merge is only available for accounts with eligible Google Workspace plans. Do you have one of these? The eligible Google Workspace plans include the following: - Workspace Individual - Business Standard - Business Plus - Enterprise Standard - Enterprise Plus - Education Standard - Education Plus

Can we avoid spam folder with this method

That's not really something I could answer. Whether or not your email goes to a user's spam/junk folder is up to them, not you. If a user tells their client to deliver the email to spam, there isn't anything you can do about that. But as for automated spam detection tools etc, they wouldn't do anything to this unless the content of your email triggers a spam filter. Mail Merge has been around for many years now and is a common business tool.
