No children at home, and my husband is still working so I have time to quilt, more time to spend with the Lord, and more time with my Inspire bible. I’ve been anxious today, worrying about family and friends who have lost their jobs as a result of the virus. But God has not given us the spirit of fear. I'm worried sick..literally . I have hashimoto's thyroiditis along with fibromyalgia, lupus and we were supposed to be at Vanderbilt university hospital LAST WEEK BUT IT WAS RESCHEDULED. but worried I need to be seen sooner but they are booked. . Love your calming content, as always. Isaiah is always my goto book for encouragement! Girl, don't sweat the homeschooling..at their age 1-2 hrs per day is appropriate. Although it's the rest of the day that is the harder part lol thankfully yall have great weather so they can still play outside in your yard and go for walks, yay vitamin D and boy wiggler release time! 1 positive thing that has come from students being home bound is all the organizations providing free online tours (zoos/parks/aquariums/etc).

Welcome to homeschoolimg mama's! I hope you love it and maybe think about continuing to homeschool in the next years to come. I love home schooling my kids, you learn so much more about your children! I have 4 little girls and number 5 on the way. It may seem hard at first or along the way, which some days it well be hectic. But what I do I stop for the day and we just do crafts that inspire learning or to outside and play and learn about nature.

Young children learn through play rather than formal learning. So you can let them play a lot. (I was actually shocked that your son had homework at his age as you showed in a recent video). Also reading to them is very important (and nice). They also will learn a lot from every day life activities. And being bored from time to time will stretch their immagination and creativity. A few fun things for kids to keep them busy for 5 minutes raddish had their monthly subscription box for free just pay shipping and the Teach Your Monster to Read app is currently for free usually $5.00. Also the learning without tears program is offering their typing program for free until July and their Pre K “program” is free for 90 days it has the work books available to print for that level and I believe their digital writing support also for pre K. The hardest thing for our family is keeping the kids busy without so much screen time. Luckily we are still allow to leave our house so we can go for walks and bike ride.

My daughter lives in Fort Lauderdale-she’s a teacher so she’s been stressing-on her spring break- about putting together a lesson plan for her students to do online. Like I said-stressing. However, she called yesterday and the stress was gone. She’s now pretty sure we’re going to get through this because Hobby Lobby is still open!!! 🤣🤣🤣. She got her HL fix and it seemed to sooth her soul. I actually have a funny story about her and Hobby Lobby, but I won’t make this longer than it already is by telling it. We have social distancing. Staying in and not being with other people, except your immediate family. All churches, schools, universities, community centres, libraries, movie theatres and non service business are closed down to try to plateau the rate of infection and not overwhelm our hospitals. Our Canadian Federal and Provincial leadership have lead well. Thankful, we can rrust in God in such times as these when things are uncertain. The verse you wuoted in Isaiah is a favourite. I appreciate your attitude! It's refreshing to hear. I also really liked the choice of Onward Christian Soldier for your music. 😊 I have an autoimmune disease and today I ended up in ER because of pain in my chest. Well, the hospital computer program switched something and the nurse that was screening me said I came in contact with the virus (and I proceeded to tell her what I did for the past several days) and she closed my door most of the way and she went and got a mask for me and stuck her hand in the door while very concerningly asking the nurse in my room to come take the mask for me to wear. The nurse in my room asked me politely to wear the mask until they figured it out. When they figured out that the hospital had changed the programming to switch over to another part when there was "shortness of breath" clicked and the one nurse inadvertently clicked something that then told her I was a carrier. I totally understand that it was a mistake and I don't care that it happened. I AM concerned that if someone does have the virus that this nurse won't be able to do her job and care for it. The look of shock on her face when she read that I was a carrier and her inability to walk in the room to hand me a face mask would be laughable...if it wasn't a health concern. I'm fine- it's major inflammation in my chest. I just believe it's all the hype and people get so worked up. I saw a quote today that TOTALLY fits: " No passion so effectually robs the mind of all its powers of acting and reasoning as fear." Edmund Burke Let us also remember that fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. I liked this video A LOT... It seemed like it was very natural and just every day life. I like all your videos and get a lot from them. I think this one just was like sitting at your table enjoying life with you. Some videos show a normalness to the vloger's life and I like that!😊 All your kids are adorable. I love their personalities shining through.

@@LynetteYoder Oh my! My son's piano teacher gives blood as often as she's allowed to. So far, she's given over 5 GALLONS! Obviously, she's given over a long period of time. So many people have someone close or they know about someone with an autoimmune disease. My husband and I both have at least one.😐
