Can we have Jamie here forever? Her energy is so cool and adds a different point of view from Peniel, Ash and BM. Also, Peniel, every time he speaks, I like him even more. He has a really nice personality and he's so kind, as the good way of kindness, knowing where boundaries are and reading the atmosphere. I was a bit wary about this episode because bullying is something that can touch a bit too much near to me but they're amazing

This is a really good topic to talk about nowadays, I like the way you all handled it. I would like to include in the discussion for anyone who may be reading this comment that you can ask for help, if someone is bullying you, affecting your mental health or even physically abusing you, search for help. If you don't feel safe arguing with them, always talk to someone you trust who can help you. It can be your parents, older people and teachers! As someone who have being bullied I know you may feel ashamed or even scared about showing your weakness, but it's ok to feel like that and I'm pretty sure they will understand your feelings. Don't let hate win, be yourself and be proud. :)

Peniel is sooooo like, intellectual. He knows you can’t stop the bad parts of human nature. He acknowledges this person whose being rude is also going through their own emotional turmoil and they’re using the ability to abuse this public persona of them to vent that out. @appletree50283 жыл бұрын
i mean yes, but we live in a time were 13-14 year old kids can write that stuff. there age doesnt protect them from any confrontation but a 13 year old kid doesnt understand shit about what he does. its REAAAALLY dangerous to swarm these kids with hate because that can cause serious problems. and i know you cant predict how old a person is but generally we should try to defeat hate with love just like BM said. and if they are so delusional that they just hate with no point whatsoever? just flood the comments with love. i think we cant possibly work against cyberbullying by answering with hate .... or maybe even with love these people are so save in there little bubble they dont care how many people on the internet tell them what they do is wrong. I think the only way are Teachers,Parents and friends who can influence these people and show them in person how awful that shit is . But if we hate on the Haters then we are the haters and thats just more hat rather then stopping it

I love these guys, they are always so honest and just give themselves, no fake This topic is really sensitive and people don't like talking about it but i loved how you guys discussed all the stuff I think the reason why people bully is that they experience only or too much violence at home, their parents don't show love towards them, they always act cold so their children become totally emotionless. I was also bullied in elementary school for like 4 years straight and i never could do anything other than just laughing like an idiot. I still can't talk about it because it makes me cry. I really hope that BM is doing alright currently; really ironic how they filmed an episode dealing with this specific topic probably only weeks before this whole fiasco currently within DSP blew up. He must feel so conflicted knowing that the things that he clearly disapproves of (and have personally experienced as seen here) allegedly could have been going on within his own company behind closed doors, and may even possibly affect his own group going forward... if you are reading, just keep it real man, you got a good head on your shoulders, just keep at what you believe in and you gonna come out of it alright.

It was scary , I could feel my legs tremble and my heart pound, especially cause I was always so shy and quiet at the time. I remember telling her, I don't know who you are and dont want any problems but if you want to fight let's go. She laughed out loud with her friends and then the bell rang. I was so happy for that bell but remained nervous throughout the day. Later on I found out one of my friends who was also in 8th grade stood up for me and told her to leave me alone. From there I knew I had to toughen up and became one of the tough ones at school. Don't bully people y'all. It can cause someone's life.

I hate thinking about these people that later in high school became closer friends, i never say outloud that they bullied me cause was embarrasing and i didn't wanted to cause a big deal. To that last person sending in mail time, I feel you. I have a similar personality too and I tend to just walk away in most confrontations. Don't worry, it's not wrong to walk away, especially if you understand that it's not worth your time. But if it's bothering you to the point where you can't even sleep at night, sometimes, it is better to confront about it. It might be messy during the confrontation but at the same time, it might also help you train to be a stronger person in general. I think being the bigger person is important and definitely seemed morally right but at the same time, it's also important to be honest with how you feel. If you keep bottling up so much, it's gonna eat you away gradually. It's also important to find ways to release those emotions as soon as you can before it really hinders you from doing what you want to do. Usually physical activities is the best way to release those types of emotions and I highly recommend you do that! At the end of the day, what's important is how YOU feel about it. Ask yourself, can I really just ignore it or is it going to bother me? I also find it helpful to write out all my thoughts and re-reading them again just to see if it's worth it. Anyway, that's just how I'm dealing with it now and I hope you find it helpful! Of course, what works for me may not be for you but I hope it inspires you a little!

Honestly you should ALWAYS stand up for what is right. Dont let people walk all over you. But also don't argue with a stupid person because that will lead you NO WHERE. They will go in circles and will never understand the point you are making because they DONT WANT TO UNDERSTAND.

I just started confronting people and that really made me feel better. Overthinking kills your soul people, so just try to confront whoever is trying to fill the negative thoughts in your head.

This is still one of my fav episodes from get real,it’s really cool that the are speaking about hate comments in an actually normal way instead of making a diss track. Dive studios is always so refreshing and always give idols an opportunity to show more of their personality and over all self while still talking about important and entertaining things instead of simply doing a cliche interview or show with the same overused/ uncomfortable questions that no one likes with full rights(didn’t mean for that to rhyme) It’s way more different than other Korean shows where the idols usually do the same thing,never get to have fun and be made fun of in different types of ways

I've dealt with crap like that basically my whole life and mainly from my own family which is worse if it's someone who doesn't even known you. I'm 31 this April and it's gotten to the point where after everything that people have said or what they've done to me in the past, there's not really much anyone could say or do to me that really phases me as I'm so use to it and numb to it that I'm normally wondering why people can't come up with anything original. At times I even find myself feeling bad for some of them because they clearly have issues of some sort and they are trying to make themselves feel better but cutting someone down or they are trying to look cool or something. I also found that for the most part if it's someone you care about or respect or whatever anything bad they say to you or if they go about talking to you about something in a way that comes off to you as cruel or something is actually what makes what they say hurt most. I also might have lost it at some point but I actually enjoy the things my haters say as mentally I turn it around on them as in they end they make themselves look bad, I also find it entertaining and a good insight into human physiology. I once saw this shirt that said something along the lines of, "I need new haters, because my old ones are starting to like me." I don't know who came up with it but once I saw it I knew I had to have that shirt, still haven't gotten it yet but maybe I'll be able to for my birthday as it matches the sense of humor my friends and I have.

i really like this show, and i've been mulling over whether to say something about it or whether it'll reach anyone, but i just needed to get it off my chest: someone thinking they might have autism is completely valid, and i know the hosts couldn't help how the person phrased it (which implied autism was the worst case scenario) but laughing at it like it was impossible or couldn't just happen to anyone doesn't help. this kind of happened as well with their episode with jackson, where him possibly having adhd was treated like a death sentence or that it was offensive to be mistaken as someone with adhd. i'm sorry if they were just reacting to these situations as a response or absentmindedly because i don't want to police people's every reaction nor gatekeep them from having conversations about these topics (in fact, i would love if they talked about it more). it's just that, as someone who's neuroatypical/neurodivergent who faces some of the same experiences of both asd and adhd people, it was a little disheartening to see. and it would go a long way if people just treated these disorders as normal, because ordinary people (people you might know, even) have them too. it's not that bad, i promise.

@figuring out my life i just felt frustrated and i'm glad to hear someone feels the same way because i was a little anxious to say something. i haven't seen that hdigh episode or highlight yet but i'm sad to hear that.

Completely agree. Someone recently told me i might have ADHD and it’s possible I do, and my nephew just got diagnosed with autism last week. You might never know it and you might have something and I just turned 23 and I never thought I’d have ADHD but now it’s making so much more sense.
@ayanisss3 жыл бұрын
@@nostalgianims8176 yeah it's hard for adults to realize that they might have asd or adhd, especially when we're led to believe that it's just the way things are. i first realized i might have adhd when i started listening to an adhd podcast and all the productivity tips and coping methods worked a lot better for me than the conventional way of 'just do it'. diagnosis is an even trickier topic, though, with all the stigma. so i'm happy your nephew got diagnosed. (podcast i mentioned is Distraction with Dr. Ned Hallowell, can't recommend it enough. also got into Category: OTHER here on youtube recently.)
@ayanisss3 жыл бұрын
@figuring out my life yay, thank you, i actually wanted to ask you for the link! also, yeah, but it kind of is a little off-topic to this video so i get it. i did think no one would see it, though, so at the very least i'll keep speaking up about it in other videos (if it keeps happening) even if it's daunting.
@nostalgianims81763 жыл бұрын
@@ayanisss yes, thank you so much. I was going to ask for the podcast but you came through. Keep speaking about this matter because it is extremely relevant, and I’m really thankful he did because I always knew he might have had it.
