It am genuinely amazed by the quality of these vlogs. I mean who else can blend clips from their 2023 vlog with their vlog FROM THE 90s ??? your work is unparalleled, and so underappreciated

I think it’s what sets them apart from the average vlog, I think it’s a precious thing to have so much footage from your life intact and accessible. I couldn’t even begin to look for my family’s old camcorder tapes even if I wanted to, much less be confident they’re not damaged or degraded.

Maybe I reached that age, but I sometimes feel melancholic for things that I neved did. I have never been in a camp, and yet I can recall what it should have felt.

I gotta admit I'm kinda jealous that you have all this footage from when you were growing up, being able to look back at it all must bring back so many good memories. Especially footage that has been digitized. Incredible vlog as always Bruno and Mia !!

This is one of the coolest videos. It's like taking a trip back in time and then stepping back into the present to see how some of it has changed and some of it stayed the same. This video gave me the nostalgic feeling I get when I visit the old house I grew up in until I was 14 when we moved into a larger home. To me that old house is still home, but my Dad rents it out nowadays. This was fun to watch. I never went to camp, but it looks like it was fun. Thanks for posting this video.

Its sad that things like summer camp which create memories kids will remember forever are becoming less and less of a thing as time goes on in favor of sitting inside on a game console and playing online multiplayer all summer that they will barely remember or care about in 10 years.

Your videos where you blend your old footage with new footage are always great. This is what user generated content is all about, and I'm glad you're still doing videos like this, it's exactly what youtube is missing these days.

Man. One of my main takeaways from this trip down memory lane is just seeing the camaraderie and how supportive it looked like at that camp when you were there. From the adults to the kids. Everyone, at least in the footage, looked to be making some of their very best memories. How sweet!

This video was an emotional rollercoaster for me. I felt so many things. We are generally the same age, so I share the "same eyes" as you guys. I would have probably loved to have an experience like this in my life. A pile of friends and endless good times and memories. Thanks for taking me on this journey, Bruno. I am SO envious that you have your life on video. I would probably never leave my house if I could relive my happy years again.

I'm certainly glad a few people enjoyed it. This has always been the channel. Story telling and flashbacks to the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. Those videos are massively unpopular with most of our viewers, who are once again largely choosing to skip this video. That's why we had to mostly move this channel to patreon. It's a lifestyle channel but it's a Power Ranger audience looking for toy review content. Most will not touch a video like this, or all of the other ones I've done, including my time working on Power Rangers. I vlogged that too, but even that PR people have no interest in. We may eventually try again on an entirely new channel and try to find the people who actually like the type of video we want to make. Anything not panning empty toy shelves at Target goes into a black hole on this channel and it's depressing beyond description for both of us.

I never got to experience summer camp when I was a teenager. Watching all the home video clips from summer camp, it makes me wish I had that kind of experience when I was growing up in the 90's. I found it quite interesting that you were vlogging a decade before social media and before the internet became more common. Who would have known that the internet would change our lives at the turn of the century? I sure didn't and I never thought it would blow up like it did. Thanks for sharing your old videos, Bruno. Summer camp looked like a lot of fun.

This video reminds me of all of the Deferent Abandoned Location Videos I’ve been watching since early this year, I think they are call Urban Explorers Videos? But regardless this reminds me of that but more fun. And in addition this video also inspired me to attempt to search out Abandoned Summer Camp Videos to watch some time after the Holiday as I currently have way too much Holiday Theme Videos to watch all December Long just on KZbin alone never mind the long list of things of Holiday Themed Holiday Movies and Episodes of Show that I wanted watch in this December.

Video games at summer camp. Most parents send their kids to get them away from those.
@DividedAsOne
@DividedAsOne 9 ай бұрын
Hope that wasn't the takeaway considering all of the other things we had. We didn't have video games in the bunks. It was a tiny shed that a handful of kids could use at a time, for a designated amount of time. Great for a rainy day, or something for counselors to do when they're off but still at camp. Kids weren't just always playing video games. The majority of camp was outside, and every camper was running around like crazy and being exposed to new experiences, learning, building confidence, etc.

@@DividedAsOne No, back then it could probably be limited, but with the phones and tablets today, it's hard to get a kid to even want to enjoy the outdoors, so I'm glad you guys got to do it.
