I’ve used this prayer over dying patients I’ve cared for. I’ve seen a bright light form over the patient and the dying person said oh and passed peacefully. I’ve always prayed for anyone in mortal danger or for anyone passing. I trust Jesus to grant very great mercy for those souls.

just the other day i heard on the shawn Ryan show, a man who tells about someones near death experience. The man who died was an Atheist and he explains how God came to Him three times and asked him if he would choose Him. I was blown away because this is exactly what we are told in the divine mercy diary. WOW!!!!!!!

I like to do a round when praying Divine mercy, sayit and on each bead in my heart say, I love you as Jesus entered the garden, I love you as Jesus called the apostles to prayer I love you As Jesus went into mortal agony Witnessed all our sins Asked for chalice to pass 3 times Was scourged internally Was comforted by an Angel In Jesus prayers and reparations Etc Makes it feel very powerful in the spirit

Repentance before salvation. That is why Jesus began his ministry of salvation by his baptism of John who preached repentance. Divine Mercy is God’s greatest attribute.

@@ElijahsCloak I definitely read something along these lines from either the first or second edition of the Princeton-Prague Symposium on Jesus Research edited by James H Charlesworth with Petr Pokorny (and Rhea, Roskovecand Soyars) Prague 2005 and 2014. The essay Jesus of Galilee: The Role of Location in Understanding Jesus by Jens Schroter mentions this idea, but I have it in my mind that I read something more specific that now am unable to find. I certainly believe that this makes sense as Jesus taught by example and word. I have a lot of respect for your work by the way.

Certain traditionalist don't like the Divine Mercy devotions because it was approved under a a Novus Ordo pope - in essence not by a traditionalist.

As Catholics, we are all Traditionalists. The 3 legs of the Faith are Scripture, Tradition, and the Magisterium. We are seeing the parable of the Old Wine Skins coming to life in our day.
