I’d seen pictures of those jeep kits brand new in their shipping crates Crazy to think that is what I’m looking at in this ship

Hi Graham, Allan Power Dive Tours have re-opened in Santo, Vanuatu. As well as offering dive tours, we are now constructing a family friendly dive resort that spans the entire 400 metres of beachfront in Banban where The Coolidge sank in 1942. Your footage is incredible and with your permission we would like to share it with our new guests and divers who are about to explore The Coolidge. We'd like to ask you back and come stay and dive with us for a week later this year. You can meet some of the old crew you dived with.

Hi there, what an experience it was diving the Coolidge, I would say it was one the pinnacles of 50 yrs scuba diving in Australian & the Southwestern Pacific Ocean areas, as a PADI Divemaster. Most certainly you can share my video with your new guests and divers who are about to explore The Coolidge. Constructing a family friendly dive resort that spans the beachfront in Banban where The Coolidge sank is a fabulous idea I would love to see it sometime. I really like the idea of coming back to Vanuatu sometime in the future the country & the people hold special memories of our time there. Good luck with your venture. Kind Regards Graham Webb

My father was the last Army soldier to disembark the Coolidge as it sank; because as a Captain, he was the highest ranking officer aboard. He died in 2008, which I believe was before the site was open for diving, and I can’t help but wonder how he would have felt seeing your footage. I was certainly deeply touched. Are you aware of what the crew went through after they swam to the then deserted island you launched from? It’s an extraordinary story… 🫡
