instead of moving it constantly with you just leave it in another character's inventory (a character purely for this purpose, no actual build) and put it in yours when you know a fight is coming.

Another good way to move the chest around the world is set it at a waypoint then drop your pyramid at the fight area, teleport to get to the chest, then teleport back to pyramid and you got it. Or use a 2nd char to hold chest and teleport to you when you in combat.

This begs the question, why isn't telekinesis a combat school in divinity? I mean like, wouldn't it be cool to have a melee character who could throw their weapon like a boomerang? I mean why put all those attribute points into increasing your strength, when you could use your mind to stab people?

The sheer amount of crazy and extremely creative things you can do in this game is amazing! I believe this is a real open-ended game. Too bad most open world games (and I don't think DOS2 is one of that genre) don't offer this level of freedom, probably only MineCraft does. MGSV also values player's freedom but it doesn't even come remotely close to DOS2.

Since inventories are shared all you have to do is keep the chest on your partner (who is never with you) and then when you engange in combat just take it out of their inventory into yours, then put it in the battle field. There is also an Ornate chest in Fort Joy in the underground arena fight you can pick up to start this at the very beginning. Easy Honour mode win

Fun fact if you put teleporter pyramid in ur chest and one in your skill slot you can now further break the game also I suggest using the teleporter gauntlet that way ur character never needs to walk ever again

no, once the chest gets too heavy you cannot move independently (gateway works, but not normal movement nor cloak/dagger, phoenix dive, etc). Try it.

I know i'm saying this pretty late, but one idea is using the pyramid teleport item, just keep the guy with the chest in town with the chest in the inventory and walk around with another character when the fight begins use the pyramid to teleport to the fight, after the fight finishes use waypoint back to town with only the chest guy, so you don't need to walk around with the char just need him to fight.

That's because your got used to all modern RPG tropes. I had the same reaction when i learned that i can steal wares from merchants. I was like: "You can do THAT? Of course you can, why wouldn't you." But in most modern RPGs merchant's wares are stored in some parallel dimension (or in underground chest, if you play skyrim) for balance reasons. The last time i could just steal (or kill and take what i need from the corpse) from merchant instead of buying was all the way back in Gothic.

That's one way to boxer your way in combat. You can also use your long-range telekinesis to set up barriers that prevents enemies from getting to you that don't have teleportation skills(before a fight).

I only do this for fights that drag on and on with adds... like the execution fight in the oilfield in reapers coast. I did that fight legit once, never again! The npc there kept running into fire... I also used this to kill the source portal master (she deserved it) before she had a chance to spawn a horde on us. This is also nice for simple fights for when you just want to skip for story reasons (like skipping the bug form of Skelly dwarf in the mine, or making Dallis run during the ship fight... warning about that, you need to pick up the chest or you will lose the after that fight... You can also oneshot the Advocate and Alice with it.) I used the chest to quickly kill the ice dragon at the start of the game... Then reloaded to have my actual interaction with him (did it for the achievement.)

U can travel easy by having a slave character. like a second char if you lonewolf and just let him stand somewhere in the world. whenever you want to walk, you put the chest in his inventory ( as the range is endless to put items in inventory's ) and walk and do your thing then move it out when needed.

once you get two pyramids, this becomes much less time consuming. i often teleported my over-encumbered bartering-companion right next to the traders, by using the pyramids.

What’s more OP is terraforming deathfog to cheese non-undead/non-voidwoken bosses. Lucian, yes the Divine Lucian can be 1 shot with a well placed deathfog barrel. Adramhalik can also be 1 shotted with a well placed deathfog barrel. Braccus Rex is the last boss. If you kill him, the Kraken and the rest of the goon squad will die. You’ll need a lot of cryogenic scrolls, and cleanse wounds scrolls. Braccus is undead so normal healing will damage him. Keep using cryo to stun Braccus, use cleanse wounds (it will hit over 2000 if Hydro is at lvl 10). I made a special character just for the Kraken. A rogue tank. Lord Kemm’s deflector shield (deflecting permanent), Equipment with the highest elemental resistances, and that armor that gives permanent flying status (found in the doctors basement). The charm voidwoken skill won’t work on the Kraken in Tactician mode. The Kraken has like 20,000 Magic Armour, can’t remember.

Here is a Massive tip to anyone who wants to be the absolute telekinesis master you start with a backpack that will never break and can be filled with objects regardless of size space or weight. This Godly backpack can also be thrown with telekinesis and can kill if throw in the right spot with difficulty on smaller targets. (they can still be hit) (dwarves may be difficult to hit but that is what chests are for) Currently at Act 2 and my backpack is 27k weight and one shots everything to the point at which retribution is the scariest stat for me when i wanna cheese through combat for story. XD Good luck you fellow backpack of death aficionados or whatever u wanna call yourselves, and good adventuring XD.

Couldn't you just use the pyramids to teleport? Use one guy (or more) to run around and find encounters. Have one guy stand still and carry the chest. Once an encounter begins you use the guy who's carrying the chest - teleport to the fight and tada! you have the chest anywhere you want without having to struggle?
