Love this band. The singer, Chrissy Amphlett was very unique, from her voice, to her fashion style and her onstage antics, she was unapologetically herself and we loved her. She sadly lost a long battle with breast cancer in 2013. 'Boys In Town', 'Science Fiction', and 'Pleasure And Pain', are a few more great tracks of theirs. Thank You Bryson, loved this. ❤

Ah, Divinyls... Chrissy Amphlett was a force of nature... a real performer. This was her biggest pop hit, but the band was a scrappy rock & roll band, and their early stuff is well worth a dive into. I would recommend Science Fiction, Boys in Town, Only Lonely, In My Life, Sleeping Beauty... so many great songs.

Oh the early 90s.... what we could get away with playing on mainstream radio with little issue at all. Imagine being a freshman in college (me) and driving in the car with your mother, this song comes on, and she starts absent mindedly singing it. I immediately had to change the radio station!! HAHAHA RIP Chrissy Amphlett. Beautiful voice!

Yay ! Just cake across this reaction. Seriously, one of the best bands to coke onto the Aussie rock scene in the 80's.Saw them live once, and Chrissie Amphlett voice was one of the best female vocalist to grace our presents. More Divinyls, please.. Jealous is a beautiful vocal performance.

She reminds me of Chrissy Hynde.SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL. Her name is Chrissy Amphlete English and this was the only Pop # 1 Hit in America, # 4 in Aussie. The guitarist looks like Brian Jones the blonde hair guitarist. Who died in 1968. Chrissy Amplets died in 2010 of breast cancer. Sad she's gone.😥😥😥

Love that you have reacted to Divinyls. They were an incredibly diverse band whose catalogue ranges from hard rock to haunting ballads. I would definitely recommend checking out ‘Boys In Town’ and ‘I’m Jealous’ both very different to ‘I Touch Myself’

Yes, Chrisdie was amazing & Divinyls were a really great group & Isaw them many times & they were always phenomenal. This is not typical of their songs, as they normally had a harder edge but it was an international hit. Can suggest "Boys on Town"or " In my life"

This was a bit of fun tongue in cheek stuff compared to the explicit lyrics sexualised outfits and choreo now a days. This was used in movie Austin powers international man of mystery. When Dr evil sends fembots (female robots) to seduce and kill Austin with guns in their boobs and he defeats them by dancing to this and stripping down to his union jack pants😊
