I saw them twice , The Elephant Bar in La Jolla and The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach. Great tight shows , non stop from start to finish Chrissy is very a unique performer A+++++

I was a regular and saw her performance over 20 times she even saw me at times and probably thought I was a very young Pervert Stalker, She was the most amazing female performer I have ever seen and she wore her heart on her sleeve without giving a crap about the hierarchy that truly existed and powered through every performance, The manner in how Chrissy and the band were treated and how their music was treated is one of the most disgusting acts of Ignorantly Not allowing a bands music to rate on the charts in the normal manner as other Artists was an abuse of power and IMO An inch away from illegally tampering with the system making it very near to corruption. She was a Genius forged from her life lessons in growing up and Then to have so Many Massive Iconic Hits ignored by those that are above all, these same hits that were an integral part of every fan's life's storyline of growing up in Australia. All this discredit was done by a handful of Narcissistic power trippers and controlling Arse Hats. So Many huge hits and only One song allowed at the No.1 Status. It would be like letting INXS have only one No.1 Song because they wore too much black on stage. Growing up in the Outer Western Suburbs of Sydney and living in Paddington Sydney in the late 1970s to early 1980s as a young teenager and venturing into the Kings Cross Clubs and seeing bands like the Divinyls and the Angels in their first years every weekend for a few bucks was amazing and an eye-opening life lesson. In 1982 I left NSW to live the quiet life in Darwin, Northern Territory where a fast pace was a beer or three after work on Friday. It was Darwin or it was Death 😵 at 15 yrs old I chose Darwin 😅

Guillotine Day a brilliant crunchy song, a welcome change from the sickly pop of the time (other artists, not the Divinyls). This 1986 performance is a great lesson for would be tribute bands today. Chrissie was utterly mesmerising in her quirky beauty. Every move and expression.

I think this was one of the last times for the school girl uniform... This was around the same time when they did a short tour with Aerosmith. This was a total mismatch. To say the least, most of the Aerosmith fans were not happy with the Divinyls. But, after their set, some Aerosmith fans became Divinyls fans...
