I don’t believe God wanted me to stay in a marriage that was abusive mentally physically and emotionally. I have lived through abuse and I am going to marry again because I did all I could to save my previous marriage and I was treated like a dog and cheated on. I paid for the divorce and been divorced for 5 years and God has allowed me to meet and soon to marry a wonderful man. So I think I will seek God and allow him to tell me not man. God has my life and he and he alone is the one I want to hear from.

If you were cheated on, according to the scripture you are not in sin. Matthew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

I prayed for God to get me out of that bondage and he did. You were not the one being hurt I WAS !! So as I said God has my ear on this one and not man! God was there when no one else was. Incorrect! James 1:27 states that "Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of God and Father is this; to visit orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. The problem is you're in this new age doctrine with a false definition of what pure religion is and you disassociate that from God. Not so.
@jasonwthompson50034 жыл бұрын
Landis P you can’t use one verse and make it a book. Of course James said that because it’s his interpretation of the subject. Jesus fought religion and rose up against it. The problem is a form of religion that’s not of Christ. Religion is mans way of how they get to God but God solves that issue through His Son Jesus Christ. Like I said Jesus is the the way the truth and the life. Not religious values created in ones mind.
@landisjackson214 жыл бұрын
Jason Thompson What scripture do you have that Jesus fought religion? There's a difference between being religious and having religion. If it's in the Word then it's good to be used. Jesus doesn't contradict himself. You lack understanding of his Word.

Brother people just do not get it sometimes. That if a man lusts after another he committed adultery already in his heart Jesus said. So all these Pharisees saying remarriage is adultery ask them Have they ever LUSTED before during their own marriage ? Cuz if they have then they committed adultery themselves. Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery You who have never sinned cast the first stone. Noone then could cast a stone..PREACH BROTHER 🔥 Jesus Spoke to the Samaritan woman who had lived with 5 husbands. That right there tells You about Jesus. The pharisees crucified Jesus. This thing really requires divine revelation from the Holy Spirit. I was in a marriage the Lord had told me (before I marry) was not his will for my life. I listened to the voices of men and question whether I had heard from the Lord ( I was very young). I acted in disobedience. When I was separated and divorced, it took the Lord to explain to me that he was never in what I got into and that he had delivered me from the destruction thereof. I would've been dead or out of my mind if he hadn't. I have peace that whom the Son set free is FREE INDEED. He is my Righteous Judge.

That's why the NON-SAINTS like you and me have nothing to worry about... "Man dominates man to his own injury" From what I Gather, Jehovah, Jesus, and the SAINTS will be a jury of our peers, JUDGES. Once Human. Fortunately, TRUE SAINTS Emulate Jesus gentle approach and gently guide with love and kindness and bringing scripture to bear... we are NOT JUDGES and we were told to withhold Judgment until Judgment day. 1 Cor 4:5 - Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God. Romans 14:4 - Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand. Jesus said, Matthew 5:5, God Loves the humble, the meek will inherit the earth. Saint Frauds are everywhere, taking communion, declaring themselves as SAINT when not actually ORDAINED is like stealing from God and the bible seems to indicate that just repenting, baptizing, and taking communion lines you up like you killed Jesus personally, like taking the mark of the beast or something. 1 Cor 11:27 - Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. Jesus didn't preach communion from the hilltops, that was private, with the SAINTS sealed by Jehovah. The apostles. So let Saints inherit the Kingdom of the Heaven... Let the meek inherit the earth.. Let the SAINT FRAUDS Face their Wrath, Let the EVIL be swept clean from us. Let them be destroyed, permanently, as it is written. John 3:16 - "For god so loved the world, he gave his only begotten son, so whomever should believe in him will gain everlasting life" Let's see how a disciple of the God of Abraham, who recognizes this marvelous Rabbi as having authority with which to speak, already in God's good grace... so much so The King will offer him Sainthood, but he doesn't cut the mustard... Thankfully, as you bring out, only SAINTS that emulate Jehovah and Jesus and are sealed with Jehovah on their foreheads will they make to a THRONE exalted HIGHER THAN THE ANGELS who never Sinned, Made Immortal, Exalted to a god like an angel, like Satan, like Gabriel.. WHOA... A "First Fruit" as it were, 144,000 thrones reserved for Jews, opened to the Gentiles when they didn't recognize the messiah... WOW... Let's how the bible handles, "Living forever a disciple, versus Sainthood, ordained, called by Jehovah and Jesus, invited to a throne next to God" Matt 19:16 - Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?" 17 - "Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments." "Which ones?" he inquired. Jesus replied, "'You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony, honor your father and mother,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.'" That's how you gain eternal life. Know who Jesus is? Great... Continue Obeying Jesus Father's commandments... Well Done Loyal Sheep! Matthew 19:20 continues... UT OH... He Wants to UP HIS GAME... SAINTHOOD? He Qualifies... Jesus Offers it... and... "All these I have kept," the young man said. "What do I still lack?" Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus said to his disciples, "Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. Was this man going to hell for having things? No. Loyal Servant... just not SAINT MATERIAL... Just remember when people are judging you, and others, help them bring it down a notch if you can.. gently.. Truth is many think they are saints or act like they think they are ordained judges and have a badge already, condemning, gnashing teeth, spitting hate versus reasoning with scriptures and level headed conversations... it is what it is... Just remember only Saint's become judges, and becoming a SAINT is not just Being a loyal servant of GOD. Loyalty, gets you life. Sainthood takes work in the field, ministry, devotion, door to door city to city until you die or are killed or jailed... that's how the SAINTS ROLL. Saint frauds and Slanderous self righteous judges and condemners are plentiful... One who speaks with the fruits of the spirit, is not only more effective in the ministry work, is more helpful when guiding sheep to truth than condemning them as not worthy to god based on own opinions and whatever... We are to judge for selves when to protect ourselves, when to separate from wickedness, to avoid partaking in sin, we are not to not to imitate the world, we are to be kind to all.. even foes... its written. So, let's face it, god is assigning SAINTS to Heaven, to be "Kings/Judges/Priests" fortunately GOD has a much higher STANDARD in picking our JURY than the SELF RIGHTEOUS folks who think they already have a "spiritual throne" with their name engraved on it... It's quite ridiculous. If God calls you... sure... repented, baptised, you believe? That's not the same thing by a long shot. Baptism is SAFE for EVERYONE, Communion is Suicide if you don't know what you are doing, just like the mark of the beast. Like Stealing from the tree in the Garden, and saying to God, you said I could... and he replies... "No, you just thought it and assumed you were worthy of the kingdom of heaven, I said no such thing. didn't my son tell you I like the humble? Thinking you have been selected by God as a first fruit with a THRONE to be translated into a god yourself, is a bit lofty, yes? Weren't you warned not take this unworthily? Why do you think the meek live on earth but you are SPECIALLY chosen and sealed for heaven? What have you done to push the gospel to the ends of the earth for me? How many people have you preached to? How many times have you organized people in your church to go out and preach like the Jehovah Witnesses do, like Jesus said? Why are the mormons doing it? What have you done? Where is the COIN I Gave you... see.. you have it still.. the RIGHTEOUS returned me many coins... that is new people brought into the truth of Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ Our Lord - PREACHINg THE GOSPEL... Like the SAINTS who set the example before you, and my Son Jesus who showed ALL of YOU the SAME thing.... SAINT? WRONG ANSWER" totally could see that.... I won't touch communion until Gabriel grabs me by the throat and says... I SUGGEST YOU DRINK THE WINE, HE's Not telling you again.... Maybe I'd drink it. As Long as Jehovah and Jesus don't drop me like they will folks taking it unworthily or the mark of the beaast... ooops - sorry - POOF... I want nothing to do with being a "JUDGE"... Let Alone "claiming I'm worthy of a throne next to god exalted higher than the angels as a first fruit of the 144,000 ... no thanks... Like Impersonating a police officer... In CHINA! One Bullet... GONE. No Thanks... Believe, repent daily, pray, study, follow Jesus teachings therefore Christian... and because everywhere you go .. the more you know the less you fit in and these gnashing teethers arrive... show them bible supports why you don't have the same take on something, and Out the Door you go... WOLF, SATAN, WORKER OF LAWLESSNESs... So I'm actually quite pleased, not just anyone who loves God will be assigned as one of our Judges... That would be terrible.

Roy Stewart, you’re talking about the Old Testament. Jesus fulfilled the law in the New Testament. Remember Jesus saying a bunch of things in Matthew like, “You have heard that it was said,”but then saying, “but I say unto you?” Jesus forbid divorce and remarriage in the New Testament. There is so much scripture to use as evidence of this, including letters from the Early Church fathers. I am talking letters from 80 AD until around 400 AD.

Got married in a Pentecostal church only because my dad was attending there. At that time, my wife and I were partying every weekend and God was nowhere in our lives. A side note - This was my first (and only) marriage. It was my wife's second. She divorced him because he was controlling - even to the point of threatening to end her life. Anyway, I felt that getting married in a church building was better than going to a Justice of the peace or Chapel 'O love. I said my vows that I would honor and cherish my wife. 7 years later, I lusted after a woman. I didn't even touch her. I just said in my mind, "I want to give you my heart. Will you take it?" and I felt in the spirit that she said "Yes". At that very moment, I watched her eyes turn solid black, something hit me over the head and attacked me that I could not see. Over the next 3 months, everything in my life fell completely apart to the point that I wanted to commit suicide. My marriage was hanging by a thread. My wife had plane tickets in hand as she was going to leave for good and take my son with her. Right before I was going to commit suicide, I asked God to reveal to me if He was real, because I was going to end my life. I let Him know I was done with my marriage. That was January 2004. I went back to that same Pentecostal church and had several spiritual experiences (felt something take all the filth away from my chest and stomach area right after I confessed that Jesus walked the face of this earth, died for my sins and rose on the 3rd day). I then saw the apparition of Jesus walk out from behind the pastor and look me in the eyes with a look of seriousness I had never seen in any mans eyes. He spoke to me by thought (telepathy) and told me, "I'm dealing with you and I mean what I say!" I then looked at the ground and back up. He had vanished. 2 weeks later, I got baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of my sins. 3 days after that, I experienced the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues, not knowing much of anything about the bible. The next day, I threw away $300 in alcohol from my house (and never had another drink to this day). At that point, I'm trying to live for God, my wife doesn't want to. She's too angry with me. 5 months later, my wife stopped drinking. 2 years later, my son experienced the baptism of the Holy Ghost. 5 years after that, my wife experienced the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Now we are no longer "unequally yoked". We are going in the same direction spiritually. Today, we are about to reach 25 years of marriage and it is stronger than it's ever been. God saved my marriage when I wanted to give up on it. I know the scriptures "now". After that experience, I've read the bible through countless times and I've thought to myself, "Oh, no! I'm committing adultery by staying married" and then I ask, "Why did God save my marriage?" To this day, I believe that during my wedding vows, I made an agreement not only with my wife, but also with a God that I did not know existed at the time. Just putting my experience out there. Not really trying to argue anything as that's just a waste of strength and time. No amount of scripture of theological reasoning is going to change my testimony. What happened, happened.

All our sins came up on him, I thank you Lord! Alot of people who got it right the first time and was saved, what others who wasn't save, who didn't know the word of God or had it in there hearts. Those that was divorce and remarried and never heard of Acts 2:38. Now that you obeyed Acts2:38 you and your wife been reborn again and also your children been baptized, you suppose to just drop everything like hot garage and go live your new life with Jesus. That to easy, alot men do that now. It doesn't sound like God to me, what about the child raising him up in the Lord showing him how to be a Godly husband and father. Lord forgive me if I said anything that's not of you, I have a heart of charity (a love that's not deserved) for everyone in this room and I ask everyone have charity for those who are seeking God. May the Lord bless every man, woman and child we need you Lord for you judges our heart, help us Lord. You know your servants better than we know ourselves. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

@PastorTrippAWordToLiveBy5 жыл бұрын
@Liz P. first off you have no hell or heaven to put anyone in, here 's a challenge according to scripture that you obviously don't know, answer this for yourself, but I will also give you the answer because you obviously don't have the skill set, let's go to where you were taught, what you think you know, come on walk with me, I will do the work for you, what is an Alien? Ephesian 2:12 that at that time ye were without christ, being Aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenant of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world. Now that being said those people who went through Divorce before they were called and came to Christ, and before they were Baptized, are referred to in the bible as ALIENS, if there Divorce took place before they knew God, before they came to Christ, before they were BAPTIZED, the bible says that was a season in their lives they were without God, strangers of the covenant of promise, they were ALIENS, without God, now I will remind you of God's Mercy, So now when they come to Christ already remarried but had a Divorce even years before that, what does the bible say when they come now CALLED of CHRIST and be BAPTIZED into Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:17 therefore if any man be in Christ he is a New CREATURE, OLD THINGS ARE PAST AWAY ; BEHOLD ALL THINGS ARE BECOME NEW. (AND HE STATES HE DOES NOT HOLD THEIR PAST SENDS AGAINST THEM, ) 2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not IMPUTING THEIR TRESPASSES AGAINST THEM; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now that being said, when they were ALIENS did God hold them to be accountable to his laws that you are condemning them by? let's see, REMEMBER AN ALIEN IS WITHOUT GOD, UNBELIEVERS, CARNAL MINDED, Romans 8:6-8 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: FOR IT IS NOT SUBJECT TO THE LAW OF GOD, NEITHER CAN IT BE. / Now WHAT YOU'RE SAYING AND WHAT GOD IS SAYING IS DIFFERENT, AND Verse 8 SAYS, so then they that are in the flesh CANNOT PLEASE GOD. That being said, So why are you holding people that were not in God, (Aliens) to the law of God, God says they are not held to the his law nor can they be. But you say otherwise, who do we believe ? And now that they are called of Christ and have been BAPTIZED into Christ, now that they can be held to his Law, what situation are they to remain ? 1 Corinthians 7:24 Brethren, let EVERY MAN, WHEREIN HE IS CALLED, THEREIN ABIDE WITH GOD. (NOW DOES THE BIBLE SAY THEY ARE IN SIN, LET'S SEE) 1 Corinthians 7: 27- 28 Art thou bound to a wife ? Seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife ? Seek not a wife. BUT IF THOU MARRY, THOU HAS NOT SINNED..... (WOW THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU'RE SAYING.) WHO DO WE BELIEVE ? I BELIEVE GOD AND RECIEVE HIS MERCIES. (AND ABOUT THOSE SCRIPTURES you're shouting AT PEOPLE, THEY ARE FOR THE CHURCH ONLY, NOT TO BE APPLIED TO PEOPLE WHO WERE IN ALIEN SITUATIONS, LET'S SEE WHO THOSE SCRIPTURES ARE TALKING TO. Romans 7:1-3 you read, but here's the answer, who is Paul talking to, look at verse 1(for I speak to them that know the law) that's not for the Alien, God says he doesn't hold them of a carnal mind to that, they are not subject to the law, Come on, let's go further, any scripture in 1 Corinthians Chapter 7, let's cut to the chase. Question again who is Paul talking to, these are the letters to the Corinthians Church, so let's read the letter at the beginning to find out who is Paul talking to 1 Corinthians 1:1-2 read, unto the church which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified, called to be Saints... Wow that's not Aliens Question so who are you talking and why do you condemning people who were ALIENS now coming to Christ, you don't even know their situation. (Do not Judge) but that's another lesson. Scripture says Jesus I know, Paul I know, but who are you, lol stay in your lane, here's a scripture to practice theres no such thing as a woman preacher in the Bible, study that
@PastorTrippAWordToLiveBy5 жыл бұрын
@Liz P. wow you just keep embarrassing yourself, 2 Timothy 2:15 study to show yourself approved unto God....rightly dividing the word of truth Now let's go to where you're are referring Matthew 19:7-9 again you fail to study, same question till you get it, WHO IS JESUS TALKING TO, LOOK AT VERSE 3, MATTHEW 19:3 THEM THAT KNOW THE LAW, NOT ALIENS, PLEASE DON'T REPLY, YOU'RE KILLING YOURSELF, AND LET'S TAKE A QUICK LOOK AT WHO OBEYS GOD and who is of the devil, did God tell you to do what you're doing right now, calling one of his a beast Pastor, give chapter and verse, and even if you thought I was in Error what does Jesus say do, Galatians 6:1.. restore such a one in the spirit of meekness... Not call them names that are not written... again Jesus I know, Paul I know, but who are you. Surely not the example of God.
@duanestewart20215 жыл бұрын
@Liz P. Not everyone commits adultery. Did not you just quote Matt 19:9?? That is an exception clause whether you want to believe it or not! Another you will find in 1 Cor 7:15. Scripture is very clear on this as the word of God does not contradict itself. Study to show thyself approved and learn to rightly divide the word.
@duanestewart20215 жыл бұрын
@ruff diamond Then you need to stay with your wife. God hates divorce. But I will trust Jesus over you. And in Matt 5:32, what you just quoted, Jesus clearly stated "saving for the cause of fornication". Fornication is defined here as whoremongering, or adultery. God is not going to demand that you sin (divorce) to get right with Him. Divorce is sin! And what you are doing is telling people to commit sin and divorce, something God hates, and God will deal with you and anyone else who teaches false doctrine.

Religious Christians love to focus on two things-divorce and homosexuality. But they overlook Anger, rage, malice, murder in their hearts... Lust, looking or thinking lustfully about others... Jealousy, envy, greed, stealing... Gluttony, overindulgence, self-gratification... Murder, rape, abuse, torment Impatience, lack of self-control... Criticism, condemnation, haughtiness, pride, rudeness... Bitterness, faithlessness, hypocrisy They overlook idols and distraction and materialism. They overlook and promote rampant misogyny and sexism in the church. They overlook and promote idolizing pastors and their families. They promote power and jockeying for position while overlooking the weak and marginalized in their churches. They point fingers at divorced, single women who are mothers without knowing their history or story. They exclude and vilify divorced people like lepers in their churches. They mock God and propose to speak for Him, but they have no love of Jesus in their hearts for people who were violated and abused by spouses who were supposed to love them. Jesus loves all His sons and daughters, and he holds a special place in His heart for women and children. Those who are shouting the loudest about “sins” are probably the least likely to demonstrate the love of Christ to others. And God will not be mocked!

Adultery same as dont steal or kill is also is one of the 10 commandments so if you repent and get saved from stealing. It says to go and do that no more so I believe if you get saved after divorce and the bible says unless your divorce was because of fortification on either side.you should not re marry. But if you do remary you will be living in adultery and the 10 commandments one names adultry..... thats where your faith is tested. People use the verse blasphem is the only un portable sin but God said sin would not enter heaven and adultery is a sin .thats where people spend their live doin their thing and when they come to Gods truth they think they can slide by . Love God means doing and. trusting He didn't let Jesus off the hook when Jesus said father if your will let this cup pass. But Jesus knew his fathers will for mankind and that was that. We will not change Gods mind or word because we hope it will work. Bottom line. We take God at his word love him and obey. And have faith we will be with him on day if thats our true desire. Every person will answer for their own soul. Come Soon Lord Jesus is my prayer..... ..

Dear Brother, what the word of God says is, "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." (Mark 10:9, KJV). I believe the problem is God has not joined many of the marriages today. I agree, with what you are saying, God was not in the process, they did not consult the Lord, nor follow the leading of the Lord. Therefore, the marriage did not work out. I fully understand what you are saying because I am divorced and I've been told the same thing from my former Pastor. In fact, I was told I could not marry again unless my former spouse was deceased. And I was also, told to seek to return to my abusive ex-husband. I found the very thought of that repulsive. I am not bitter and I have forgiven him. I am seeking to please God in these last and evil days. I am trusting in the Lord. Thank you, for sharing. This teaching gave me clarity and insight. I truly appreciate all that you have spoken. God bless you.

He molested every one of his children and grandchildren (yes including me) he destroyed so many people’s lives. He handed down generational curse after generational curse still to be broken. There is nobody on this earth that can convince me that she should have stayed in that marriage to please God! This was not Gods will for her life!! I believe if we do the choosing, we may have to do the undoing. I heard Juanita Bynum say tihat. God doesn't call all marriages together. He said let no man put asunder what God has joined together. We can't do our own choosing and expect God to bless it or be shocked if it doesn't work out. God is forgiving because He knows people make mistakes. I understand what you’re saying here, and a lot of it makes sense, but it seems more of your speculation than it does GOD’s WORD. Fornication and Adultery are sexual sins, but they are different. Fornication is between a man and a woman who are unmarried. If GOD acknowledges premarital sex as a marriage than there would be no such thing as fornication, it would just be adultery. No one has authority to give someone permission to divorce except for GOD. JESUS is the one who said whoever divorce their spouse for any reason aside from fornication and marries another commits adultery. I agree that sex should only take place between and Husband and a wife. I agree with that because that’s scripture, and I also agree that we shouldn’t be condemning people to hell, because that’s scripture, but I also believe you have to be careful calling leaders legalistic and religious, because we are careful to live exactly the way CHRIST instructs us too. Never give someone permission to divorce, we are aloud to give them permission to separate and then let the SPIRIT of our GOD do the rest. I like your videos, but on some of them if it’s something dealing with sin that you’ve dealt with, you get defensive. All you have to do is repent and ask GOD to deliver you and show you the way. Never try to justify your sin.

In my opinion he is prophetic. Usually the one you think is crazy is the one who hears from God. I know this to be true because I hear directly from God and my spirit will NOT receive what is a lie. The one you run after is the one you should beware. The problem is that most only believe what their church teaches and they don't have wisdom into the things of God. If you truly had a heart for God and was always seeking him with ALL your might you'll see that this message is of God. How many of yall spend over 5 hours a day in the presence of God and no one else becauee that's how much you yern for Him???? Probably a small few. I do, and my spirit already received this revelation about marriage long time ago. You skim the surface of the things of God and then try to comment on what is of God, but have no true knowledge of who he is because you aren't SOLD OUT for him. When your sold out then you really get to see Him. For who he is. I don't see yall on social media trying to bring revelation to the masses and break religion in half. We can not have a relationship with God by only going to work and then church on Sunday or by saying a prayer at night and that's it. Its called a relationship for a reason. Religion is going to kill most of yall. And because the masses love religion that's how you can tell who the remnant are because the remnant means "few" so if you're with the crowd your probably on the wrong side. The best thing to do is to seek God for revelation with an open heart. If you don't believe him then go into prayer and let God reveal it. Its really simple. Go ask the FATHER

Religion isn't killing anyone. James 1:27 "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." The Word is life to us, not death.
@shalombereshiyth6 жыл бұрын
@Ronee Ro Read the verse again. We have a lot of slogans that just aren't true. We like to talk against "religion" or "religious" people because that's a popular thing to say right now. But the truth is in the Word. I don't go to church today and I don't wear pants or makeup. When I did go to church, I got made fun of and told that I was single because my dresses were too long lol. Holy just means different, set apart. Yeah, it's pretty "different" for a girl not to wear pants in today's culture. And most everyone knows they didn't wear pants back then.They just say it because men wore pants first and the Bible says not to wear that which pertaineth to a man. I don't wear makeup because I refuse to put on a mask every day. I am who I am. I find it crazy that most of the people who say clothes don't matter are the first to bring up attire in a discussion about holiness. I don't attend church because there's no scripture that says we need a building to worship the Lord and I'd rather spend it on the needy like James 1:27 says. I mean, that's what it's really about, helping people. That's pure religion, undefiled.

Not judging, but separation over divorce except for adultery is biblical no matter how we want to justify walking away. Accepting Christ means sins are forgiven, but divorce is not what God intended. Marriage is intended to reflect the commitment of the groom to/with the bride (Christ to/with the church). Divorce is not an unpardonable sin. We can marry the wrong person by not seeking God. If we ask God for forgiveness HE WILL FORGIVE US. Forgiveness means the LORD does not remember it NO MORE. Many people fall into this situation. If you ask God to forgive you HE WILL. I believe God is a God of a second chance. We often put God in a box. He says in his word in Romans 9:15-18 (KJV) 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. 16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. God understands and HE judges case by case. Should we try to fix our marriage? Of course, but some marriages are unfixable. I believe that God will allow that person to remarry as long as they try to work through it and it’s workable. We must not make it a habit of divorcing and remarrying. I think that’s where the sin comes in. If we divorce, we should not be so quick to jump into another marriage. We must make sure that this new chance is for keeps.

It's a faulty commentary. It's Not true. Yeshua Christ Doesn't limit His Absolute Marriage Decree to Jews nor to Christian Believers. In other areas, addressing other topics, He often specifies "Jews", "Believers" and/or Believing "Brothers" & "Sisters", HOWEVER, in Mark 10, Matthew 5 & 19, AND in Luke 16, He Uses ", WHOMEVER, man & Wife", the Greek words whomever, for man, and the word for wife, with no sectarian or denominational specifications. He Doesn't say "Jews" who do this, He Doesn't say "Believers with a Christian wife," He Speaks Of ALL Marriages ( that are not Adulterous ). Prophet Joseph BLESSEDLY Knew That: Joseph says he will NOT Sin against God by violating Potiphar's WIFE; and, let us be clear, it was BECAUSE she was MARRIED to Potiphar, NOT because she was Egyptian, Joseph Married an Egyptian girl named Asenath. God Also Gave a True Vision to the Pharoah of Joseph's day, & after Giving Joseph The Meaning Of it, Affirmed It As A Sure Promise To both Joseph and even that heathen Pharoah. God Mad Marriage For All humanity. You can't go into even a pagan's house, as a Christian, take that pagan's original wife, and have it somehow not be ADULTERY, no more than you can murder a pagan or heathen, or rob them, and have it "not count." Uriah was a Hittite, one of several Canaanite-related tribes ancient Hebrews were forbidden from marrying, yet Yahweh The Most High God Held David FULLY To Account for ADULTERY with Uriah's Wife Batsheeba. If David had played the technicalities game, saying "but God, Uriah was a Hittite, so his marriage to her "didn't" really count ), Yahweh would NOT have forgiven him, because of the unrepentance, and likely would have struck him down. Don't mislead people into Adultery via misunderstanding and "reading" things into God's Word that God DIDN'T say. : BLESSEDLY, Mark & Luke Provide BLESSED Double Witness Affirmation Of Yeshua Christ's Decree On Marriage As Absolute & Indissoluble, Agreeing Withe eachother, but with neither giving agreement to the clause in Matthew. This used to be Recognized by the MAJORITY Of Churches of all denominations. Importantly, to the extent that the so-called Matthean "exception" weighs in, it notably refers only to the Husband's grounds for putting aside the Wife ( in keeping with the discovery that the Bride was not a virgin [which has pregnancy & paternity issue risks that an unchaste male doesn't bring ], and the use of porniea, which most literally translates NOT to vague "sexual immorality" but literally to literal prostitution & harlotry, is indeed best understood within the context of a woman who fraudulently presented herself as a virgin bride, but was found not to be, and the bridegroom, upon learning it, puts her aside rather than consummating the marriage & rather than reaffirming commitment to marriage in spite of her past harlotry ( were he to accept her anyway, even initially, then, as Forgiveness Must Be Forgiveness & Yes Means Yes, unless she was not only a harlot but already a living man's wife, the husband would be Spiritually Yoked to that agreement ).
@gibranlewis7300 Жыл бұрын
@@philipbuckley759 & the Matthew clause, not found in Mark or Luke, is actually "porneia", which in context of the Jews and their betrothal customs, meant if a woman/girl ( note, it only mentions the wife being "dismissed" ) who had claimed to be a virgin prior to the marriage actually proved not to have been: upon discovery, only if done as soon as it was learned, the man could put her aside on grounds of premarital harlotry ).

And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 KJV And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery. Mark 10:11-12 KJV

If I'm in an abusive relationship, it's no sin for me to separate, but in Gods eyes I will be an adulteress if I divorce and remarry while my spouse is living. Roxanne Meeks sometimes believers have marriages “from hell” as you put it. However I’m not saying you should stay with him or anything I’m just saying it does happen. I’ve seen and heard many testimonies of couples who got married and the marriage was terrible for years 5, 6, 11, and even as many as 15 years! Come to find out when they got it together it was because they had something in their life that they hadn’t turned over to god and weren’t doing things the way god said to in his word, and he was trying to get them to change. Once they submitted to him, and let him change them their marriages changed.

@@gibranlewis7300you are missing the point. God redeemed the unsaved and gave him/her a NEW LIFE… God doesn’t want you to divorce your Godly spouse and return to your heathen wife/husband and remarry them- leaving your Godly spouse abandoned and divorced wrongfully. Make sense. This is not of God. This is religious confusion. Sexual immorality as a precedent for divorce means anything immoral. A spouse could be forcing certain acts without consent, consistently open spiritual doors by looking at pOrn, which is spiritual adultery… That is the breaking of a covenant as well. According to Jesus that’s a legal reason to divorce. God gives grace to the redeemed in Christ and even the porn addict who’s spouse has had grace on them and decided NOT to leave even though they have legal cause. Grace is grace. And grace gives us mercy for where we deserve the book 📕 to be thrown at us. Many of us came to Christ war torn and broken and who are you to say he cannot redeem us and we need to be eunuchs for life? Many of us WISH we did it right- but that isn’t the case for many of us sinners… we cannot afford to be Pharisees about the topic, because we know the truth. Jesus is the Truth and He will set us free.

Most want to use "Judge not lest you be judged" verse in the Bible so they won't be called out in their sin. We as Christians are indeed supposed to judge one another because in doing so keeps us on the straight and narrow path of God. Judge not lest you be judged involves the MOTIVE, not the ACT. As it states in the Word, only God knows a man's heart; therefore only He can judge that heart's motive. We are only supposed to judge and help correct the outcome of that motive.

Nowhere in Scripture is REmarriage allowed unless it's the death of a spouse. In the case of infidelity you are allowed to put that person away (but it doesn't go on to say anything about remarriage. “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries one who is divorced from her husband commits adultery. Luke 16:18 AMP And He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her; and if a woman divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery.” Mark 10:11&12 AMP but I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except on grounds of sexual immorality, causes her to commit adultery; and whoever marries a woman who has been divorced commits adultery. Matthew 5:32 AMP Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor (perversely) effeminate, nor homosexuals, 1st Corinthians 6:9 For Herod had John arrested and bound him and put him in prison [at the fortress of Machaerus, east of the Jordan, to keep him away] because of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip, for John had said to him, “It is not lawful (morally right) for you to have her [living with you as your wife].” Matthew 14:3-4 AMP How did David commit adultery? He had a woman who's spouse was still alive. Because he understood this principle David had Bathsheba's husband put to death. Only as a result of Uriah's death could Bathsheba become David's wife. Therefore, if people are divorce they are to remain single or be reconciled back to there spouse.

Juro Lewis I would love to hear more about your life’s journey. Most people believe that the “blow” of divorce is so devastating to some that the only reason they remain single is because they lack the courage or faith to trust again in that level of commitment to love and they rather never go through something like that ever again. I never felt called to re-marry but I made the mistake to do so after only 4 yrs of being single. Both my ex husband & I committed adultery, even tho my action was out of retaliation, but still we both did. My second marriage happened because in a dream I swore God telling me that He was going to finish the work that He began in me. I chose to ignore the “true” interpretation of that dream and my 2nd marriage was 100times worse than the first & lasted less than 6yrs.

I can't understand how God will sanction a divorce when His word said that one should not get a divorce?..... The Covenant of marriage is broken upon the death of a spouse. When a man and a woman has sex, their spirits are joined. The word of God says that when a man dies his body goes to the ground from whence it came and His spirit goes back to be with God, thats why His word says you can remarry after the death of a spouse. Once both parties are alive in body, their spirits are joined and sex with another person invites the spirit of the other person in that union, even if there maybe issues in the first marriage. Once alive once consumation has taken place you carry the spirit of the first spouse until death. There are principles on blessings that transcends how you live your life now, what I mean is there are kingdom principles that once followed by anyone whether saved or unsaved WILL ALWAYS yield a blessing so dont be fooled by the APPEARANCE of the success of others, that's a different topic all together but I hope everyone understands my point which can be scripturally backed up.

Pastor Jerry Miles Humphrey was born in 1872. He was against remarriage (he calls it "divorce-marriage"). He was married at 19 years old to his 17 year-old wife, until his wife grew cold and wanted a divorce. So they did and he remained unmarried for 7 years until many several Orthodox men of God who knew more told him that he was free to remarry because he was innocent. So he remarried. As soon as the marriage ceremony was over, he felt wrong in his spirit. He would fast and pray for answers for months, but it was constant until it became real doubt. So he decided to live separate from his second wife for 18 months to seek God in prayer and fasting about if he made a mistake and if it was a mistake, to know how to get out of it. He was fully ready to obey God at all costs, even to the point of losing his life if he had to. And so he began to have dreams. On April 13th, 1907, he dreamt of a minister who spoke to him the words from Isaiah 52:11, “Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean that bear the vessels of the Lord.” On September 28th, 1907, he dreamt of a being who said: "There is someone in this community rejecting God-given light, and if they do not stop, God is going to send them to hell forever. He has sent me to warn them. Now you may do as you please about this matter. I have warned you, so good-bye!" The 3rd dream was about a large white boat that represented the Bible. He was in a narrow boat/skiff which represented the "except it be for fornication" from Matthew 19:9 (the scripture that people use as grounds/excuse to divorce). His small narrow boat was being beaten up by the crashing waves until he sank into a watery grave. In the 4th dream, "I saw myself joined arms with my second wife, walking down a wide brimstone road in hell, and as we passed a large vestibule I saw throngs of voluptuous men all dressed in black, and wearing silk hats. They were all keeping time to a band of music, and waving college banners, and singing this chorus: “In hell at last! In hell at last! And earth and all her pleasures past. In hell at last! In hell at last: For aye and aye the die is cast.” And in front of these men were about a dozen large black swine (emblems of filth and uncleanness). And they were flopping their ears and cringing to the music. In this, God showed me that I had followed the sensual, unclean, flesh-indulging multitudes of earth, into this divorce-marriage business. At this I awoke with that awful picture burning in my brain, and that hellish music ringing in my ears." 5th sign was this, "One day, as I stood all alone in the parlor of a friend’s house, in an eastern city, (while contemplating taking up this awful cross) it seemed as though a glorified spirit descended, and sang the following chorus to me: “Heaven is cheap at any cost, Do gain its ports or all is lost; For earthly gain is only dross And naught’s of value but the cross.” And with this song there seemed to come volleys of exhortations from Wesley, Fletcher, Pollock and millions of glorified saints saying to me, “Gain heaven’s port at any cost” At this he now realized he must divorce, and people found out about it and tried to convince them out of their convictions, to not divorce, but as he put it, "their arguments were too shallow to build on for eternity." Then he had another dream, it was a preacher reading from a paper and said “You would be all right if it were not for that divorce-marriage.” The last dream he had was of lightening picking him up and throwing him in a fire and the words spoke "Prepare to meet thy God". When he woke up, his bed was hot. He was clear in his direction, he talked to his second wife, and they finally divorced, after two years. He says: "Since we did so, I feel as clear as an angel. And I am fully convinced that divorce-marriages are wrong; no matter if every preacher in the universe says they are not...I am not writing what I think, but what I positively know; and am willing to seal this testimony with my blood. I know whereof I speak. And no matter how conferences or church disciplines may rock the conscience of the people to sleep telling them they can marry while their husbands or wives live; they are wrong, and the souls whom they are deceiving will find it out when eternity is unveiled, if not before. I thank God that He kept conviction and light streaming from heaven on my soul until I walked in it, in spite of all the false comforters, who were crying, Peace: Peace: when there was no peace; but dread, fear and awful uncertainty... if you are now in one, and love your soul, and want to gain heaven, do get out of it: even at the cost of all things, or else you will regret it throughout all eternity." I'm sorry but I don't agree that two unbelievers who are married are not under a covenant, or that one believer married to an unbeliever (unequally yoked) aren't under a covenant. The bible says that the wife or husband who is a believer should not divorce the wife or husband who is an unbeliever if the unbelieving partner wants to stay married. The believing partner makes her family holy even while one of the partners isn't a believer. 1 Corinthians 7:12-16 ESV / 105 helpful votesHelpful Not Helpful To the rest I say (I, not the Lord) that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he should not divorce her. If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. But if the unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cases the brother or sister is not enslaved. God has called you to peace. For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? I don't think you are a false prophet, you just have different views on marriage. Peter and Paul disagreed on stuff too.

Marriage and divorce are two very serious and confusing issues of our day even as it were in the days of Christ. When preachers claim to speak with the authority of the Holy Spirit on this matter without any scriptural references to support what they are saying, then I say beware!!! When Jesus was asked about the issue of marriage and divorce He referred the people back to the authority of scripture, "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female." Matthew 19:4 I would encourage every believer to take this matter very seriously and search the scriptures for the authority as to where you are to stand as concerning marriage and divorce. Because even during Christ's ministry there was a great deal of confusion among religious leaders, such as the Pharisees. "The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto hum, Is is lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?" Matthew 19:3 Marriage and divorce is a very emotionally charged subject that when addressed by the authority of scripture can provoke someone to come under attacked. Even to the point of loosing one's life, even as John the Baptist did. (See Mark 6:14-29) Here are some scriptural references on the subject of Marriage and Divorce, hopefully it will get you started on you quest for the truth. May the Lord grant you an ear to hear and a heart to understand in Jesus name! Amen! 1. Jesus's response to the question of marriage and divorce. (See Matthew 19:1-12 ) 2. Jesus's warning of getting an unlawful divorce. (See Matthew 5:25) 3. Jesus give the underline reason for divorce. (See Matthew 19:7-9) 4. God's attitude about divorce. (See Malachi 2:13-16) 5. The Permanence of marriage. (See I Corinthians 7:39; Romans 7:1-6) 6. Believers are forbidden to marriage an unbeliever. (See I Corinthians 7:39;II Corinthians 6:14-18) 7. Circumstances that disqualify you from getting a divorce for any reason. (See Deuteronomy 22:13-19; 22:28-29) Fighting the good fight of faith Pastor Wheeler

I wish I had known about you years ago and it would have helped me with these struggles. I was in a horrible marriage for 5 years before separating but I could not accept getting divorced because I did not feel I could ever be forgiven due to what I was taught in church. I researched, I prayed and I still felt it would be unforgivable. I knew that God could not want this for my life but it was 5 more years of being separated until I understood that the relationship was not a covenant with God, that God wants us to have life abundantly, and that my relationship was actually spiritually separating me from God because God was not in it. I am now remarried and my husband and I grow together with God as the centerpiece every day and together we learn about God’s love through our love for each other. For anyone reading this going through the same struggle I pray understanding for you and for God to help show you the answer and above all I pray that you know that God can forgive all things so don’t let anyone tell you that your sin is unforgivable but theirs is not. My husband and I believe that all of our previous relationships were all sinful because they were not from God, but our marriage is not condemned because we were married in the eyes of the law before finding each other.

Thank you for this video; and shedding light on a subject I was confused about for so long. I tried for 27 years to make a toxic relationship work.. and it took so much struggle, so much disappointment, for me to realize that this man was not my destiny. He was not in Yahweh's plans for me; quite the opposite, in fact. There was actually a moment when I told Yahweh that I loved this man more than Him.. And that is the very moment when Yahweh proceeded to separate him from me. Worldly love vs. Godly love.. Only one can bring you sorrow. One will last to the end of time, one may not see tomorrow.. I learned that the hard way.. But thank Yah I learned it. Bless you, brother.

I have heard a pastor say that you're going to hell for remarriage, but he said it for those who can't seem to stay married..for people on their 3rd, 4th and 5th marriage and they're claiming to be believers. We definitely have to pray and be careful of what we're saying about our brothers and sisters. The Word of God tells us He will bless those that bless us and curse those that curse us. So if we're cursing our sisters and brothers, we're speaking a curse on ourselves. Stay prayerful family
@luvmifro1003lovesfamily6 жыл бұрын
3 IN 1 Right! I'm not saying telling the Truth is a curse. When I use the term cursing people I mean it as to say, if God has forgiven the individual, He doesn't need our help to continue to convict the individual. He has being God on lock. The Bible doesn't address abuse of any kind. So if an individual divorces another based on any type of abuse, I think God will forgive the divorce. Now if that same individual enters into a second marriage and the second spouse is also an abuser, that's where the problem comes in. We are to acknowledge God in EVERYTHING. God is a revealing God. He will give a warning sign BEFORE marriage takes place

Joyce Aggrey Salvation has nothing to do with how a person lives, how many good works he performs, or how many sins he commits. We aren’t our savior in any way shape or form. Salvation is just if we accepted Christ as our savior or not. If you believe that he died for all of your sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. Jesus stated that if we love him, we need to keep his commandments, and he also stated be ye perfect, as your Heavenly Father is perfect. The problem with that, is that no man is perfect or could ever be perfect, and we have all broke the commandments when we first sinned which means we didn’t keep the commandments. All sin needs to be remitted by a shedding of blood, not by asking for forgiveness, or repenting of sins, etc, the payment for sin is death, death needs to happen with a shedding of perfect blood for each and every sin to be remitted which is why Jesus was the last sacrifice for sins forever. It’s either he saved you, or you are saving yourself (which is how you will end up in hell) Once a person is saved, they are always saved by the glorious sacrifice of Jesus Christ for all sin and for all the believe. A video further explaining truth on my page, link below. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5m6Z4Cwf8qpjqM
