This is a DIY nightstand that anyone can do! Not only can you do it but it’s legit the price of two coffees. I’m dialing in my guest bedroom (which I cannot wait to show you!) and wanted to share some builds I’m implementing up until the reveal. Hope you enjoyed this quick and easy DIY nightstand! Cannot wait to show you the larger scale projects I’ve been working on for weeeeeeks. Stay rad xx.

I've been struggling with how to design a nightstand for my bedroom for a while, and this makes so much sense: attaching it to the wall! (I'll add multiple shelves, but the concept is exactly what I need!)

I don't remember around how many subscribers you had when I subscribed but I def subscribed when you made Callie's first diy bed. And I really hope 2019 is a good year for you and your channel because just in the time that I have been watching you, you have gotten so much better and more creative which I think is probably more important. You can learn all the skills but if you don't like what you're making then what's the point. I hope you continue to make stuff that makes you happy because I'll watch anything you make so long as it still seems like you enjoy it. Anyway this is just a long comment and my way of saying that you're a great youtuber, keep keeping on :) Also I hope I spelled your dogs name correctly!😊

@Living to DIY with Rachel Metz I ended up taking the old bookshelf I had been using for so many years next to my bed, dissembling it and was actually able to make two of these which were already the perfect size out of it. I used your tip with the brackets as well. I'm super happy to report that it literally only cost me the 15 bucks for brackets and contact paper, and has held up extremely nicely the past 6 months. My cats jump on it all the time, and it supports them and the salt lamps so well. I have a pretty small room and being able to clear up floor space with this while still having the functionality is great, I can't believe it isn't more popular. Sorry this was so wordy, I just don't know how else to express how pleased I am with the results :D

@@LivingtoDIYwithRachelMetz You won't see the ridges tho because the taper on bottom of screw head covers it when you run a screw in.. .. Im talking about when you drill the countersink hole for the screw to sit flush.. If you reverse the drill, you will get a super smooth countersink hole.. Does that make since??
