If im seeing right, you dont have a cross wire for your middle battery. Your bms will only charge 1 battery out of the 3 in the middle which defeats the purpose of having a bms for balanced charging. Its an easy fix just have another wire connected parallel across your 7.4v and done

Do NOT solder directly to 18650 cells. They'll overheat and either be ruined or explode and you'll have a huge fire. You have to spot weld nickel strips to the cells and then solder wires to the strips. Plus, with spot welding, it is cheap, ensures a good connection, and can provide some structural support. It is also extremely space efficient, especially if you're working on a project that has very little room to work with and battery cell holders can get in the way of that.

So you put electrical tape on the battery pack so that you can tape the BMS to it. My question is can you put PVC Heat Shrink Tubing over it, heat up the tubing so it looks more professional and keeps the structural integrity? I've seen a video where he puts 2 heat shrink tubings over it, so wondering if I can do the same.

You haven't connected 7.4 v cell volt terminals in parallel. It won't balance charge. Then what's the use of BMS.Only short circuit protection??😁.Please consider connecting 7.4v terminals in parallel😁

You have a problem on your wire connections. You have 3p*(3s), but only 1 serie have balanced charge, the other 2 series no. You should rectify your circuit.

Yeah, you gotta be careful soldering directly to lithium batteries. And by careful, I mean keep a large bucket of sand right beside you to toss them in and cover them if things go south.

I don't think so because this battery is little bit heavy normally drones use lightweight Lipo batteries.
