Great job. I’m about to make something similar with some ABS plastic I have. The brackets should be interesting - hopefully the straps I picked up will be strong enough. Thanks for the tips and cool stickers.

Amazing! I'm going to steal some of your techniques to make the old fairing from my subaru fit my truck

this is great. there's a 40 dollar fairing kit on amazon that's 43" wide, I will try to cut it down myself after seeing this

I know you’ve had this for 9 months now but I think you should have done 3-4 coats of clear coat on the fairing , then wet sand to get rid of the texture. That would leave it smooth and able to washed in case you have to clean it . Idk how long those stickers will last unprotected

It looks like a glass table bumper. Usually they are used for child safety for glass coffee tables. Possibly this one: Canada www.amazon.ca/dp/B014KIYA4O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_HBPC3F375NF53MWF03A6 USA www.amazon.com/dp/B014KIYA4O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_BWJQWBNWQXXT2J7RBHG1

Looks great. Did you need special tools to get the brackets bent all at the same angle?
@alexguanshi4 жыл бұрын
not necessary, clamp it on a rock or table and hammer down u can probably do it on the ground too because it was L shape originally
