Thank you for such a lovely presentation! A very dear friend of mine, a great artist just passed away, and I am lost with out her passion and constant creativity. I live on Nantucket Island and have been saving scallop shells for years and had plans to make wreaths, lights, among other things. I always thought she would be here to guide me....Now, in honor of her I have pulled the clean shells out and will use my grief to create. Thank you once again, your video was just what I needed..no talk...music and creativity.

I love these ideas and will be using them! Plus the first and probably only time I have watched a whole video without turning the music down, off, or leaving the video completely! I usually don't care for non-speaking ones but this one is wonderful, soothing and mesmerizing. It's amazing how music can make people turn off before they watch 2 minutes. ❤ And again, thank you for creating beautiful and inspiring shells. I've been looking for so long!

Lovely and inspirational ~ Thank you Patti ! I am going today to hang out with a senior friend at an Elder Care facility where she lives. I usually do her nails and massage her hands etc... I bring fresh fruits or veg from the garden and a sea shell or two just for the fun of it. Today i'll bring an extra color of nail polish and some glitter so we can make some sea shell art . if she wants to. Many Blessings and Gratitude for your yt channel ~ have a Wonderful day ! When we moved to our home by the Pacific Ocean. I decorated our Christmas tree. It was in seashells. I decorated the seashells. I will never forget. How my wonderful husband loved it. He is with Jesus now in heaven. The tree and seashells were destroyed in a house fire. I will have to do it again. To honor my Special friend. Bob I will always love you. I want to thank you for making this video

Hi! Loved your video and accompanying music but I have a question. I went to your website in regards to the metallic paint you used and it took me to paints that didn't look like what you used. Your metallic paint came from a jar and these were all in 2 oz. plastic bottles in a set. So, is this the exact paint that you used in the video? Can I find the metallic paint in jars that were shown? Thanks!

I noticed you didn't put any glue down on the shell first and then add napkin and glue again. Is it because the shell is a porous material and the napkin will adhere with one coat of glue? And what is the name of those metallic paints?
@patioelf7 жыл бұрын
Hi Edith, the napkin decoupage glue is key when you're doing that type of decoupage. The napkin is so thin that the gelatinous napkin decoupage glue sinks through it without tearing it. So the one coat does indeed work. That technique will work on any surface you can decoupage on but I like it when working on smaller pieces. Here's the link to my site so you can see the paints. scroll down to the first image you see. upcycledecoupage.com/2017/10/05/diy-5-ways-to-decorate-your-seashells/
