Having worked in the LPG industry for 25 years my advice is over filling any LPG cylinder is a VERY BAD IDEA, they are filled to certain amount for many reasons the main one being SAFTEY Advice to the video producer- if you fill to the same weight as you purchased the original cylinder you’ll be safe enough (the volume of propane liquid in your cylinder will expand the warmer the ambient temperature is so : overfill cylinder on a cool day to say 95% full, weather gets warmer, liquid volume expands and now cylinder is over 100% full = cylinder relief valve leaks to stop cylinder rupturing) good luck - stay safe.

Great video! See you have to chill the bottle because if the bottle you’re filling is the same temp or warmer than your fill tank the process will go in reverse that’s why you shouldn’t shake a green gas or propane tank before filling a mag it causes it to cool. If your propane bottle or GG can is colder than your mag you’ll never get a fill,you’ll think it’s full after a 15 sec fill but you’ll get only a few or half shots that’s because the process is working in reverse,as your mag gets a slight fill of liquid then a higher concentration of air causing your mag to take what’s inside and will then fill your filling tank. So your mags should always be colder than your fill can or bottle. A TM mag spitting? People who own Tokyo Marui Airsoft wonder why they spit and try to load them with silent fill O-rings which will work but what you do not know is TM uses “open stem fill valves” this is why they’re proprietary and why WE and KJW valves will not work or vice versa. These TM are designed to purge air and gas as you fill giving them right amount /combo of the two like a simple Feul pressure gauge. So if you have a TM your mags are not broken and they’re not defective. With all other mags that need silent fill O-rings it’s always good to purge your mags using GG or propane by holding open the release valve and spraying a few bursts into them which are releasing out the release valve at the same time. This is eliminating access air,old dirty oil and condensation which stays in your gas mags after a bunch of uses taking up space inside the chamber. This is why at some point you’ll be sure you have filled your mags up but for some reason only getting half the usual capacity or not near what they use to. This is why! Hope this helps! Please Check out the channel And if you’re feeling nice subscribe, I’ll be revealing and blowing minds doing episodes on where to find crucial GBBP parts for free and will start when I reach a hundred subscribers. I will Also start doing giveaways as well! Thank you for your time! Thanks for your video!

I know the video says not to do this at home, but if you live in the US: www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/49/5124 And on the back of mine: "Never refill this cylinder. Refilling may cause explosion. Federal law prohibits transportation if refilled-penalty up to $500,000 fine and 5 years imprisonment (49 U.S.C 5124)"
@MBKill3rCat2 жыл бұрын
When it says 'refilling may cause explosion', it doesn't mean the tank itself will explode. As these tanks get older, the seals don't hold up, so it might start leaking gas after a long time of being filled and refilled; if the gas leaks inside your house, then it can indeed cause an explosion. To be safe, always store LPG outside, ideally in a well-ventilated shed or something. If you notice any rust or corrosion on the cylinder, do not try to use or refill it.

@@tedyboygonzales5559 yes. Propane is not lighter fluid, that's butane. Butane has a much lower vapour pressure than propane, and is entirely unsuitable as an airsoft propellant. Not all LPG is equal. Propane is used as an airsoft propellant, but another type of LPG that is commonly used as fuel is butane. Butane has a much lower vapour pressure, and probably will not build enough pressure to cycle your gun, causing it to just vent the mag. Make sure you're using propane, and try to get a brand of propane which is decently pure and isn't cut with butane.

You dont need to add silocone oil if you just oil your guns and stuff?
@MBKill3rCat2 жыл бұрын
No, silicone oil is not something you want in your propellant. It will cause your hop-up bucking to swell, will foul up your barrel decreasing accuracy, and will attract dirt. It's much better to actually maintain your GBB; take it apart after every one or two game days, clean it thoroughly, lubricate the contact points (look for signs of wear) with gun oil or a lubricating grease of some kind (silicone grease (not oil) or molybdenum grease are popular options), and add a drop of silicone oil on the o-rings. Don't put lube on the o-rings, as it can degrade them or impede their function, and don't try to use silicone oil as a lubricant, it's too thin and isn't suitable for metal-metal contact.
@MBKill3rCat2 жыл бұрын
@old man strength Silicone oil is not a cleaning product, it's a lubricant, and not a particularly effective one either. Its primary purpose in an airsoft gun is for the o-rings, to help them function and improve their longevity. You want your barrel as clean and dry as possible for optimum performance. For slide contact points, yeah you want a lubricating grease or oil. I've used both moly grease and gun oil on my pistol slides, but that's metal-metal, I can't speak authoritatively on the appropriate lubricant for plastic-plastic contact, either should be fine but I would suggest a lubricating oil is probably what you want. Be mindful to make sure that your choice of lubricant is not harmful to the plastic, though.

When you inhale it to your respiratory system, it causes to reduce oxygen below safe breathing levels. Breathing of high concentrations may cause dizziness, light-headedness, headache, nausea and loss of co-ordination. Continued inhalation may result in unconsciousness. I know you (most airsofters) use Propane outdoor, and it may reduce the chance of having the above harms and dangers. DO NOT USE PROPANE INDOOR ! Even you have good ventilation, it does not help much for inhaling Ethyl Mercaptan. I hope it helps and gives more details about Propane gas to Propane airsofters ! Good luck !
