What I love about this channel is these guys are all about just having fun without just being dumb to watch (unlike some other channels out there), and people in the comments are being nice as well and are not just writing mean comments to them.....all together just makes this channel so much more enjoyable...

Sure you can debate it does not exemplify their workmanship. But would you want to drive with welded wheels like that or concrete tires? 😜 Its all just for fun.

Really all I see is success! No precision cuts and definitely got penetration in the crevices or the wheel would've collapsed on itself. If the lad attended an interview he would be employed by Belton & Massey Catalysts UK on the spot with skill on MIG like that lol. MIG & Abrasive wheel qualified he appears to be.

The wheel wobble might have something to do with the missing lug nut. There are 4 other lugs, but steel wheels flex quite a bit when torqued to the hub (where alloy wheels do not as they are normally much thicker due to being made of lighter, weaker metals such as aluminum)...so the wobbling issue could have easily been due to that one missing lug nut.

At 6:23 you can see the wheel warble like he described his feeling about It. The welder must weld the bar to the nuts ring first with TIG process for more penetration and finesse. Then, he can weld the bars with the wheels perimeters. Lastly, he will be able to cut the metal below the bars.

Under normal usage it would surely collapse. After welding you need heat treatment to relieve stress. Otherwise welds crack.

He welded that big ass slug of weld for AMG that's why it's wabbling I saw that coming you need to do ALL the welding before you cut it out and don't let it get too hot you're warping the hub. Keep everything symmetrical to keep it balanced
