I LOVE aprons, but have only a few of them, since I usually sewed things for others rather than myself. But I do have a voluminours one that I really enjoy wearing. Made it many years ago as a gift for someone else, but it didn't get given, and I found it just recently when I opened up a few boxes of fabric. So that was a happy surprise!

You are the absolute best! Aprons are the best! I made a pattern from one that my aunt got in Honduras. The aprons in Central America are awesome.

This style is so cute! I'd definitely say this is perfect for arts and crafts. I might even add some smaller pockets around the chest and lower ribcage. This would also be a great starting point if you wanted to embroider a custom piece. Happy holidays!

☺️ thank you. I totally agree that adding more pockets would be great.

This is so cute! Is there a pattern for it?
@shellylemons2 жыл бұрын
Love the apron!! Do you have a pattern for a spring/summer dress that has at least one inch wide straps and a v-neck. I know I am being picky but I had a lumpectomy and I need that style to fit my bodice. I’m not big busted just full figure with a long waist and short legs at 5’4”.

Actually yes. I would check out the fit n flair dress I designed this summer.anastasiachatzka.com/collections/dress-patterns/products/princess-fit-n-flair-dress-pdf-pattern-download?variant=40255266619434

@@SewAnastasia will it work with cotton gingham? I have an idea for our 27th Anniversary in April. My new granddaughter, daughter and I wear chocolate brown and white gingham dresses in different styles and my stepdaughter, DILs and two oldest granddaughters wear the gingham print of choice. The men wear long sleeve white shirts and jeans. Simple is best. I will post the inspiration picture from my past on your Instagram.

@@shellylemons that sounds cute! I love the idea of all the gingham. Any cotton fabric would be great for that pattern.

what presser foot are you using when youre sewing the bodice and 'skirt' parts of the apron? it has a good beefy edge on it inside that looks useful for precise edge stitching
@SewAnastasia2 жыл бұрын
I will have to go back & look but the B or S foot!
@SewAnastasia2 жыл бұрын
Lol 😂 kinda funny it was BS but no for real those are the letters of the feet.
