Why did you put it up 8 "? Others drill into cover at the bottom. Less than 2 "?

Only thing i would have done differently is not to have fitted the nipple directly to the pipe. I would have used something between the 2 with a female thread to accept the nipple. The nipples have been known to leak and wear out. Iv had to replace them from time to time. Otherwise a fantastic job sir
