You can actually use any liquid glue for crafting that dries clear! But not sure how the wavy effect would look like when using different glue. But it should be fine!
@peter-mk4ig9 жыл бұрын
A tip for if you're going to try this, before putting the leafs on the glue, leave it for a minute so it becomes tacky. When the glue is tacky, the leaves will cling to the glue. this way you dont have little bits lifting back up.
@joellemcgowen808011 жыл бұрын
You could even go a step further and while the glue is still wet crumple white tissue paper over the leaves. It will become clear but add a really cool texture!!!!

What feels good about your videos is that you take your time to reply to any question the commenters have. I like this tutorial because it is easy but has a very nice outcome, so you could do it with your kids/cousins/nieces/nephews too when it's rainy outside ^_^

Danke! :(

Aww, yeah, I thought about making a similar candle for winter because I saw some glue or paint, that reminded me of snow.. or there are also those frosty sprays! That would look cool I think!

Beautiful. What other items have people used other than leaves? Feathers? Stones? Photographs? Wire or ribbon or strung beads around the top rather than twine... Thank you!

+Health Nut I love your idea of feathers, because then it could be used year round, instead of just seasonally.

Hi! I did this this summer with the leaves I pressed a few months before. But even though I got the leaves to stick completely (I used water to moisten some of the leaves to make them mold to the jar easier) and I did multiple coats of Mod Podge, the leaves' colors faded. I was just wondering did you experience that too? I meant to seal the surface of the jar with acrylic varnish so I could wash it, but I never got around to it. Great video by the way! :)

@CameliaFio she says: you will also need mod podge, but if you live in a country, where they dont sell mod podge, you can put glue and water tpgether and mix it up. Instead of glossy or fixing mod podge/ glue you can also use an old top coat from an inexpensive brand! I hope this helped you out! @CameliaFio
