As a hairstylist can I just say that this is an amazing balayage for doing it yourself, I have yet to master the balayage but I have done this on myself a few years ago and it's actually a great method. Most hair stylists frown upon this but go girl if you got the skill the product doesn't matter!

you seriously did a better, did i say better, i mean and INCREDIBLE job. I got this done at a salon and with a discount they charged me $200, not counting my tipping $40. I spent the whole day at the salon and I even missed my daughter's event. You did it for much, much less and in less time. I really wish I would have seen this video before. Plus yours looks natural, i wound up with a line across. Im coloring my hair this weekend, God willing, trying to correct the brassiness and bringing the intense yellow I got going down to a caramel tone. Thank you for this video.

Wow, that turned out amazing. I wish I was that good with hair at your age... I just want to add a couple things (sorry if they are really obvious): 1) Instead of rubbing the dye backwards with your hands pick up a tint brush from any beauty store they are like 2 bucks and save your hair from fraying in that fragile state. 2) Only buy a purple shampoo if your hair is brown/red/dark, if your hair is ashy or already a different blonde I would save the money. It wont hurt, but there won't be any warm tones to take out. 3) I WOULD wear both gloves just in case, I know it's being overly cautious but allergic reactions can happen (even if you haven't had them with dye before a new brand could) so having it on your hands would be much much worse than just your head, better be safe than sorry :)

@jennabethschwartz7 жыл бұрын
I used this video last night to remind myself of tutorials I had seen before so I could ombre my own hair. This works GREAT with the whole finger method in order to make it look like a great fade. I love this look because unlike a full dye to the roots, when my hair grows, I don't have to worry about it looking funky and it always blends in even as it fades. I really appreciate the slow down and you going over what to do with fingers. I used a cool platinum tone and purple shampoo and conditioner, but it is still warmer than I would like. Is there a purple toner I can purchase (not a stylist, so no license here) to help cool this down? The purple shampoo isn't working.
@Returning.to.yahuah7 жыл бұрын
If you're blonde going for darker balayage for the fall, do you need the purple shampoo? And do you just rinse it out without the conditioner that comes with the box? Thanks!

Great job! Something I've used in the past as a toner instead of the purple shampoo is just a regular white shampoo with a itty bit of manic panic semi-permanent dye in either purple or blue (depending on if my hair pulls orange or yellow that time), and use that in place of your shampoo step! Leaves so much good moisture! (:

Hello! Your hair looks absolutely amazing! I have never dyed before and I'm slightly stressing so I have a couple questions - my hair is straight and strawberry blonde (kinda) it's sorta the same colour as yours like light brown) I wasn't going to bleach it but I do want the ombré effect - I'm not sure about the colours either (either pastel pink, purple or raspberry, a little guidance there would be greatly appreciated!), I'm going to use Adore semi permanent dye colours from Amazon. Has anyone got any tips /know which colour will suit best / should I bleach ? Etc. Thanks for any help I can get! ‼️💕🙃

Btw if I put purple shampoo on pink dip dye will it ruin it or help?
@skylarmae78797 жыл бұрын
Hey, I just wanted to say that if you have never dyed your hair before DO NOT DO IT PERMANENTLY!!! or bleach it. It will ruin your life. Your hair gets crispy and dry. Your hair sounds beautiful(I am Positive it is!) and it would be horrible to have to wait for 3 years for it to grow back out again. I strongly suggest against it, but is your hair. So, if it is want you want, then do it.
@ellej69857 жыл бұрын
Sky T thanks for your concern, 😊 Don't worry I'm not going to bleach it....definitely not. I've looked into it and for now, I'm gonna leave it until much much later on.....and even them, I'll go to a professional on that subject! The dye is NOT permanent, it'll wash out after a couple weeks or so. 😬☺️
