DIY beadlock wheels with NO WELDING. Drill & tap with studs or bolts.

Testing out a genius/stupid idea for converting a regular OEM wheel to beadlock without any welding. Using lasered jig and rings and spacers from Empire Metal Works empiremetalwor... I was able to successfully assemble everything together. My buddy's F350 Super Duty is still in the shop, so I haven't been able to drive on it yet...but the initial results look good. Then there's just 32 x 5 for the rest of the set to go. haha

Yeah I started off designing the Beretta beadlock but the 8 hole Ford wheel works nice with it too!

@@GEARHEADdezign Have you considered any way to "widen" or "stretch" a Beretta Z26 wheel? I haven't been able to think of a good way with cast aluminum wheels.

@@adamwaerzeggers7557 I have a plan on the back burner. Weldcraft wouldn't touch them, but I want to cut the hoop out of the back side of another 16" wheel and weld it on the face of a Beretta z wheel. I think it could work.

I'm anxious to see how the wheel drives. I drilled 16 and then another 16, and I'd be better off with a new jig that drills all 32 at once

Took 4.5oz to balance, but I also forgot to align tire dot with valve stem hole
