BTW, 2 of your ideas I admire enough to incorporate on my own 'tracker: 1) Eliminating the 2 smaller tubes that do nothing but hang beneath the backbone, so much cleaner without. 2) Seat post mod for a more aggressive (and comfortable) riding position. Even LOOKS more like the old bikes. I hope you don't mind... I began building motorized bikes with first my grand-nephew and now his sister too, ages 12 & 10. Fairly straight forward, relatively cheap and PERFECT for young hands to develop basic mechanical skills--time well spent and enjoyed by us all. Not to mention that irreplaceable feeling of "driving what ya built"!!

Roy Ledford exactly what I was going for! That old school look. I agree, building it your self is very satisfactory

I built something almost like this, using some parts of an old bike that I have had. Funny work, enjoyable ride, and way cheaper to buy/maintain than a motorcycle (well, it's not a motorcycle, of course, but serves well in relativelly small distances)

I built a 2 stroke (66cc) Schwinn Del Mar then a 4 stroke (49cc) Huffy Panama Jack using kits. Both now have rubber mounted fenders. Both have their factory long & narrow luggage rack over the rear wheel VERY HANDY. After assembling that first "rag joint" rear sprocket I made a bushing that centers the sprocket on the rear hub from a PVC fitting and WHAT A TIMESAVER (runs true too). Now piecing together a fender-less board track replica with a 2.8hp Baja Doodlebug pit bike motor and a jackshaft, my own fabrication. Technically, the 98cc engine isn't legal for motorized bikes in my state; so I'll fix that by pulling the stickers off : )

Good job kid! 1st build, Right? ! CNC sprocket much better choice though your rear wheel will appreciate the extra miles too. BOARDTRACK bicycle a thumbs👍 Like your homemade seat post as well. Looking forward to your future boardtrack builds🤞

You need to add oil to the gasoline or the crankcase won't get any lubrication.

Replace the rear sprocket with updated hub mount sprocket. The spoke mount is a poor design.
