It really breaks my heart to hear your bike was stolen, it was beautiful and I hope you get it back somehow. it's an epidemic as far as I'm concerned. No two wheeler is safe these days. I've lost 3 different bicycles myself over the years, but I have a near perfect emerald green western flyer that is almost ready to roll so I'm optimistic. Can't wait to see your next build or whatever your new hobby may be. Thanks for the content.

I appreciate the kind words. Indeed, I do somework in the bicycle industry now and the theft is alarming. Best of luck with your new bike! Sounds awesome 😀

My ebike doesn't leave my sight unless it's locked up. All it takes is a few seconds to get stolen, and I can remove the battery in thirty seconds. Luckily, I live in a small town, I'm keeping mine with me in my residence. I paid a lot for it, I'm not giving it up, to anybody.

Much love for your doggo Lucy. Might be too much info but. Recently broke up with my ex of 3 years and her dog was like my daughter. I’m looking at starting to build engines. But buying another bike or car would probably put me deep water. Love the editing and continue doing what you’re doing

Sorry to hear that, man 😞 yeah engines and motorized toys certainly are money pits but it's always good to have something to tinker on. These motorcycle kits are super cheap and fun to play with

Hey, just found your channel. Even tho I was looking for videos on how to assemble a motorized bike and this wasn't it I really enjoyed the video. Very relaxing to watch. Nice editing and music. Keep it up! Saludos from the other side of the Ecuator :D Sorry for you loss (theft?), one of my bikes got stolen recently, parked inside my apartment building too so I feel ya:(

With all of the eco-talk, a b.t.r. can be a good choice going work for the budget minded. If you're considering the freeway, a minimum of 15 h.p. is required. Double check that. Disadvantages must be overcome, like a rainsuit jumpsuit. I'd like to build one before I'm gone. On U-Tube, the poorer countries show remarkable, inspiring bikes of various genres. Some have the coolest looking, oddball antique gas or diesel engines.
@get-oa6 ай бұрын
Indeed. This was not made to be a real moto. There are a ton of cool bikes and motorcycles abroad. I've seen some cool ones in my travels to Asia and Latin America.

Nice build. Too bad it was stolen.. but I wonder, why the tank on the rear rack? It would look much better in the frame. where the fake tank is..eh..was...since its stolen...and the metalcases didnt match the "board track" style. If it where a street bike, yes...but not too many boardtrack racers brought their lunch and school books onto the track ;).
@get-oa6 ай бұрын
Thanks, yeah. I mean, it was inspired by a board track, and I was like 16 w limited resources. The tank on the back was a convenient solution because it came with the engine, and I couldn't find a tank that would fit in the frame online. Same with the panniers. I wanted to carry stuff and it made the tank on the back look better. Still reminds me of a retro bike with metal panniers.

Cool, too bad America has thru their ignorance dropped shop in the schools and got rid of the VW Beetle, etc. the Beetle Bug was the greatest little fun car/jeep for young drivers to mess with and customize their rides and same with the old scooters and mopeds and so now the you play on computers and cell phones and don't even know how to socialize properly or how to build or fix anything!
@get-oa5 ай бұрын
Yeah it's certainly a shame that they got rid of shop and the beetle was a pretty iconic and easy to work on car but you know things sadly can't be that simple or myopic as times change! I just grew up building and fixing different technology. From my pc/phone to my bike and cars. Times change, people tend to stay the same. I was always mechanically inclined and I can tell you there are many people my age who are too. Just did a brake job with my younger buddy the other day. The point is, dont lose hope for mechanical competence. In this new age we're just mechanical with new technology. It may seem foreign but there are thru lines to everything. I just wish we had more things like shop encouraging young people to explore their intellect and creativity 👍
