Not sure why someone would click dislike "not from scratch(so)" "we have seen axes be made before (so)" "he needs to make something cool(go away)" This video shows a different way to revitalize a ax head and make it usable again. I say way to go. that shows respect for who ever made it and the person that put the bolt through it to keep it going.Keep doing awesome things.

To take an old axe which most of us would consider only fit for the scrap yard, then resurrect it, is quite frankly testament to your skill as a metallurgist. It is nice looking. Good job. If you ever haft it again, flip the fawn's foot (the knob on the end of the handle that you grip) the other way around (rotated180°). It's a shape that evolved with the human hand and has a practical purpose beyond being cool looking.

Yes. Handle grip seems awkward. You have to be careful and if possible use seamless tubing or it may open up with use at the manufacturers weld.

Hassan Abu-Izmero I MUST say that you have some of the most interesting videos on KZbin! I very much enjoy them and only wish I had a band saw, even and old one to fix up! I'm 65, disabled and still I manage to do a little Blacksmithing even though the disease I have and it eats the cartilage from ALL the joints on my body! I have 7 replaced major joints and more will have to be done in the future! I have some grinders and small sanders and a small forge and a Harbor Freight anvil which, though not a good anvil has managed to help me make a number of things I couldn't have without it! If I only had a band saw, I could do a whole lot more! Best wishes on your KZbin career and for the future! Thanks, again for the great videos! I get a lot of good ideas from them! Wish I was a bit more crafty than I am but, hey, you work with what you have, right?
