DIY Built-In Adjustable Bookshelf

I know this video is old but if you're using the type of shelf pins that I use, L shaped, with a screw hole on one side, if you turn the pin the other way around with the screw hole "up", you can definitely avoid making them router notches, to account for them. Not sure if that's why you made the notches but that is the only thing I can think of why you made them. To allow for a clean flush seamless look between the sides and shelves. Cool little project
