Some of the reviews for Flex Seal we're not at all good. Dicor might be the better way to go.

Dave Stennes I used 2 other types of sealant. The flex seal was just extra because I had it.

@@purelitI used some Flex Seal on side windows on a Geo tracker soft top. I applied the Flex Seal over fiberglass tape and results were excellent. I think the Flex Seal by itself is prone to leaking but you used as a top coat only so you're good.

Well...... why didn't you remove all the screws and remove the broken screw? You really need all screws compressing the tape to prevent a leak. Also, Sikaflex or Dycor self leveling sealant around the screws and flashing will work better than the spray tar to prevent leaks.
