The o-ring on the oil pan plug can be re used up to 5 times after that probably go ahead and replace it.

When adding new oil if you turn the jug sideways When pouring you won't get the gurgling and splash oil plus allows you to get lower when you start pouring

I was told European Car formula Mobil 1 is the wrong oil for the corvette. I was told to use Mobil 1 Super Car Formula. Tell me if I’m wrong.

@@johnnygrellhesl4316 Mobil 1 European car formula 0-40 is factory fill on my 19 Z06

@@johnnygrellhesl4316 Both will work, in this case I prefer the European formula as it has slightly higher levels of Zinc and Phosphorus. As I understand it due to EPA emission concerns high Zinc has been removed from most oils but in provides additional lubrication just not as healthy on emission. I have seen a lot of differnt oils used mostly in track used cars.

​@@johnnygrellhesl4316 I'm also wondering what the difference is between the European formula and the Super Car formula. My Dad just got a 19 Grand Sport and we'll be changing the oil soon so I've been looking into what others are using.
