“I did the math” ….. Yes, that bites me every time! I got brave and browsed a furniture store. There was a gorgeous canopy bed in there. Once I stopped freaking out over the price, I decided to double check with your plans! Y’all are awesome!

So good to see you at play again, do you see a time frame when you can get back in your shop? Are you going to just go back home , keeping the shop is costly And things are unsettled ? I enjoy your fun personalities . Where ever you work you bring happy! Thank you.

Great tutorial! What’s the mattress size for this bed? How would the measurements diff for a 180x200cm bed?

To be honest I did not like it at first but after the stain it look bloody fantastic
@henrybotha2 жыл бұрын
This is amazing! Thank you for the awesome work and sharing with us!! Can you please explain how the mattress fits on the bed? The building plans look like the mattress sinks into the bed, but the final finish and photos make it seem like it sits on top of the bed? The reason for the question is because I don't know how much clearance to allow for between the base and the mattress if it fits inside the base...

could this same design be used for an outdoor pool bed? I imagine you can add hinges in the bottom to make the back adjustable

Those Kreg bits are terrible. I love using the pocket holes for projects but the driver bit seems to strip after just a few screws. No matter how straight you keep it. Only way is to go super slow and who has time for that. Buy a long square bit from Milwaukee and problem solved.

This channel is more of an assembly channel vs. building. Whenever you drill a pocket hole, you barely create any sawdust. How is that even possible?. Oh, I know you didn't really just drill the hole. And stop lying to people... I have the same pocket hole jig. If you go from stock, that is really thick to something that is much thinner. You do have to adjust it. That is what the small know on the side is for.
