Looks sooo good! We love a short, sweet & to the point queen 🙌🏾 Notes to self: Chalk paint, 3 coats, wax or poly acrylic finish (after 24 hrs & wipe off excess with clean rag), acrylic paint on hardware (optional)

Excellent work and results! Thanks.........being new and about to take on our existing China Cabinet/Hutch and the Dry Sink, I noted that you painted the inside (frame) of the glass doors.........should I also do Chank Paint (I meant to mention above) the inside of the lower, solid, doors, too? Thanks very much.......did I mention how excellent your video is?! Smile

I saw a dressor set In this color for sale and about almost paid for it. It looks very clean and I'm very curious how white would look 🙌 or other unique colors.

I am in the middle of doing my hutch with chalk paint right now. I have two cost on it and I was wondering if some leave it at two coats? I do love that Chantall said to not freak out when it looks like a 5 yr old did it! LOL I freaked out. Also, my hutch is really glassy and tall. I wish I could upload a picture to get opinions. Thank you for you video. I will continue to paint. How long did you wait between coats? Can you paint over the wax once you wax? I am very new at this.

You might want to go back at the beginning, she shows you the size of bottles to give you an idea. I would guess after that🤷♂️

If I wanted to do a small china cabinet just like yours here using the same stuff how would I add distress to it, also I have a round table dark wood claw feet. How could I do it to match the China cabinet. Thanks
@chantallfranchesca77914 жыл бұрын
Hi Nancy, I would simply take your sanding block to the areas you’d like to distress! There’s no wrong way to sand! You can find different shapes and sizes for sand paper that would work with the grooves of a piece of furniture with claw feet!

Very pretty! What sealer would you recommend and how many coats?
@chantallfranchesca77914 жыл бұрын
Hi Lisa! I used Valspar sealing wax and it's been working pretty great!! I would do one coat of the wax. Just make sure you have a clean and non-fuzzy-releasing kitchen towel to wipe off the excess wax!

What’s the wax for? 😫
@chantallfranchesca77914 жыл бұрын
Hi aletse!! Since chalk paint doesn't require any sanding or primer the sealing wax serves as insurance. It seals the paint and creates a smooth surface!!
