Much of what you do reminds me of really good floral design. It’s all about the vessel and textures, focal points, fill and accents and balance. The concepts of good design apply to all creativity. I am a maker too! I just finished the first day of a giant Christkindlmkt near my hometown in Indiana. It was HUGELY SUCCESSFUL! I also do assemblages and my customers loved them! Mine are a bit more "sparkley" but is the same principal. Vintage finds and new bottlebrush trees and old tins. So much fun and lots of folks loose themselves in the assemblage and dream of Christmas's past! Love your work!!!

If you don’t already You should do a booth at the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival. The largest festival in Indiana. Over 1 million visitors every year. It’s also the best place to find vintage everything.

My Mom had a tree in her front yard they had to cut down after she passed. She loved watching the squirrels and birds. So I saved tons of wood slices from the tree. I think they would be perfect for this.

Yvonne, quick hack on dried out moss, just put it in water, grab and wring out! Continue to glue with it wet, actually keeps the dust down and sometimes takes on a brighter green appearance.

Loved all of them,, some more than others. Personal opinion -- at Dollar Tree, in the motor car,oil,etc. area , they have a fuzzy,soft white cloth used for polishing and such and it makes the best snow.

I love being able to glimpse how you set up your area to work in a few of your videos. My shop is much smaller, but it's chaos when I'm making things. I think it's a good idea to lay out all the objects so you can sort of shop the pile for each creation. I also found it helpful when you showed us a quick shot of how you store your items (not sure which video) in the clear shoeboxes stacked in your cabinet. I'm going to see if these 2 things work for me. Also, thanks for adding so many things to each creation...it's inspiring me to think a little differently.

I didn't get to watch last night because we had celebrated our family Thanksgiving yesterday. I'm watching this morning and it is calming to me to watch you create after having all 6 of our adult children and their spouses (12 grandchildren and a girlfriend ranging in age 23 to 5 months.) The little ones were so LOUD I couldn't hear myself think! I love them all so much but I am so enjoying having my peaceful house back after they all went home! Your ideas are just adorable and I love the vintage look. Just a suggestion if you want to take the balls off the trees from the Dollar Store just hold your heat gun to the balls and it melts the glue and so much easier to remove, less pulling and less damage to the branches!

Oh my gosh, i used to save those ribbon spools but could never think how to use them. Wow, thanks for the idea! I bought all those images books when JoAnn sold them 7-8 years ago. The nice thing is the came with disks so you can print off your own image.

I'm so glad to see littles. I also have a house full of vintage & antiques. Because of my age, I'm getting ready to downsize. I will still have a studio. I can't survive without one!
